Stunning looking watch with quality of a watch 10 X the price you pay for this.
After seeing a number of youtube reviews for reasonable priced dress watches I decided to buy the Orient Bambino Version 4 automatics. As this moment I have had it 4 days and I'm seriously chuffed. I own quite a few luxury brand watches including Jaeger-le-coultre, Omega, Rolex ...... etc. So why am I so impressed given the quality of my other watches, simply that this watch is genuinely stunning to look at, the finish quality staggered me for the price and had I not known the price I would have placed it a lot lot higher. The movement is currently running at +5 seconds per day which again is remarkable, it sits very nicely on my wrist and the leather strap was more than adequate for a big range of wrists sizes. Pro's:- Looks are just fantastic and remind me of the watches my father had (60's) Quality build Water resistant Time keeping Price Con's The suede strap is a dirt magnet No luminous markers

Great Dress Watch
A great watch dress watch - very well made and stunning to look at. There are plenty of Youtube review videos on this watch model and all are very complimentary. Compared to those videos there is not much to add - it's affordable, looks great, has an in house mechanical movement from a respected manufacturer and affordable. As for accuracy and power reserve I haven't really tested it or rather made the effort to check. However, when worn it keeps good time and if wound down I hand wind it (it's automatic with hand winding and hacking).

Great value
Great watch, accurate time, a definite great value for money, especially for gateway watches for beginners to own. What I dislike is the strap, which is uncomfortable(esp at first) but is understandable as the actual value lies in the watch itself, not the strap. In my opinion, it goes well with black strap as it is, doesn't work well with brown straps(I tried switching it) as it has a more young modern feel to it rather than a vintage brown-and-white look.

I really brilliant watch and well worth the money
I really brilliant watch and well worth the money. Just be prepared to buy a better watchstrap as the standard watchstrap is cheap leather. However, it can still not take away a star as the quality of the watch and the price of it makes it well worth it (watchstrap is part of the reason the watch is cheaper as well) and now that the Bambino v4 comes with 22mm lugs finding a watchstrap is easier as there are a lot available in 22mm.

Looks far more expensive than it is
Love this watch. Heavy well made feel to it and keeps good time. The strap doesn't go with it, swapped for a black strap and looks miles better. It is a big watch though and probably not suited for people with smaller wrists, mine is 8 inches and sits just about okay. I like that this version can be hand wound also as i wouldn't wear it everyday, so a quick wind and your good to go. The dial is beautiful and with the rose gold fingers and batons looks really classy, just don't plan on telling the time in the dark as it has no lume.

Automatic wind-up watch
This is a nice watch - stylish, not flash. It's nice to have a wind-up watch again, so as not to have to replace batteries. It seems to be keeping good time so far.

The seller was absolutely cooperative when I requested an earlier shipping.Got it just in time for my husband's birthday. He absolutely loved it! He's been eyeing this watch for few months now. And it certainly lives up to it's charm. A very classy watch for all your formal events. Absolutely love the blue colour.

This is one of my favourite watches from my collections. The watch is stylish and elegant. I use it mostly as dress watch (not sure if that is right). It is not the most expensive watch I have, but it is the one I have received most compliments so far. I got it mostly due to Youtube reviews. At this price range you can hardly beat it. Keep in mind this is automatic and it is somewhat difficult to use as daily driver. Power reserve rarely lasts more than 24 hours. Saying this if you are not used with automatics as I were when got it.

The watch completely meets expectations based on my previous purchase of Orient watch, high quality for a reasonable price. I actually expected it to be too big based on YouTube reviews but yes, the size is big but seems ok. I don't think I have a large wrist. Delivered in 5 days to Singapore. Hopefully, I do not need to use the warranty.

Pros: - Very cost-effective for an entry-level automatic dress watch. - It's beautiful. The dial has a sunburst texture that plays really well under the light. The markers and hands are elegant in the rose gold tone. - The picture does not show clearly but the watch has a domed crystal (the crystal protrudes from the case), which means the watch will look different from different angles. You just can't tell the charm until you see it with your own eyes. The pictures just doesn't do it justice. - For the same reason, the watch looks much thinner than it actually is, which you will want in a dress watch. - Very high quality. The finishing is flawless. Looks much more expensive than what the price you have to pay for it. - As the whole Orient Bambino line has been upgraded with the new movement, this watch allows hand-winding and hacking. Hand-winding is especially nice if you have several watches to rotate or if you just plan to wear this watch occasionally as a dress watch. - Only time will tell how reliable the new movement is, but as of now it's keeping great time, especially at this price point. - The strap is surprisingly nice and comfortable compares to what I have heard about Bambino's straps before. Also, the color and the suede texture give way to a more casual look, thus it can work decently as a daily watch as well. Having said that, the watch feels just at home with a more dressy strap, if you need it for more formal settings. - The lug width of 22mm is a vast improvement over previous versions. It's now open to a whole new world of aftermarket straps. Cons - The strap doesn't like water at all. And it can become dirty quickly. I guess that the problem with suede. - The case diameter is now 42mm instead of 40.5mm in previous versions. Some people really like their dress watches to be small, so keep this in mind. It doesn't look big on the wrist, but it's not really understated by any mean. - Unlike previous versions, Orient has removed their logo on the crown. I consider this as a major step backward. - As with all automatic watches, you should learn how to handle it, definitely more complex than a quartz watch. A few common problems include time setting and magnetism. At this price point, you will not want to spend a lot of money to service your watch, so it's better to take extra care of it. TL/DR: This is a beautiful watch. You just can't go wrong with it especially for the price. One of the best entry-level automatic watch you can buy at the moment.
