Cooked them in my deep fryer at 370 degrees til golden on both sides. Works great
As a first-time maker of churros, I took the plunge with this churro maker not knowing exactly what to expect. No worry. I followed the directions on the churro mix and this device did a perfect job of making the churros as I cut off 4-inch sections into the hot oil. It's extremely simple to use. The variety of nozzles allow various shapes and thicknesses, each of which fries up a little differently. I haven't tried to make hollow churros yet, but next time.

Going strong for years - superglue tweak
We've used this frequently for many years and enjoyed its function and easy-cleaning. The rounded handle top started to come off increasingly as it aged, and eventually all the hidden tabs broke off. But a bead of superglue underneath did the trick - wish I had done that a long time ago.

Worth every cent for authentic Churros!
I absolutely love this churro maker! I tried to make churros with a bag and pastry tip but they didn't come out good. This maker comes with six different tips, including a hollow tip, which is great for stuffed churros...I stuffed mine with Nutella!!!.. or to make churros that are crispy. They come out light, crispy and delicious, just like from a restaurant! They come with a simple recipe that is perfect. I thought it would be horrible because it is only flour, water and salt but they are fantastic!!! So authentic! Other recipes are complicated and call for butter, oil,eggs, etc. but that is so unnecessary! Just follow the included recipe and you will get the best churros you will ever try! Plus you can make a ton for so cheap! I have a deep fryer but have also tried to make them in a pot. You need to use a thermometer to ensure the oil temperature stays at deep fry so they don't soak up the oil...you cannot crowd the pot either. I promise you will have light, crispy, sweet bites of pure deep fried deliciousness!!!! This product is worth every penny!!!

Easy to use and fun! Plastic looks sturdy and resistant!
Easy to use and fun! It has several shapes to make different kinds of it, which is great, but I bet you will soon choose couple of favorites ones and stick with it. Plastic looks resistant, and the tool design itself looks nice and sturdy. Also not heavy. There is no mess at all while using it, and it is so easy to clean. This is the second obe that I bought. First one was from another brand or seller, they are more or less same quality, but this one includes in the set the shape to make filled ones. It's exactly what I was looking for to enjoy the "churros" at home with the family.

Be careful
I would have given this five stars after the first use…….but when used again, air was trapped in the piece and churros went flying all over my kitchen! The only thing I can think of is the air got trapped because the first time was great. Not going to lie, I am a little afraid to use again, very scary but thank goodness no one was hurt.

Does what it says, makes perfect churros of various shapes
Nice and sturdy unit. It’s all plastic, but much sturdier and easier on your hands than a spritzer cookie gun, or especially a piping bag. This particular brand is nice because it comes with the hollow churro mold, so you can easily fill them with caramel or chocolate sauce without having to use a stick and align it perfectly to get a hole down the middle of a regular churro. I don’t recommend the recipe in the booklet that comes with this product.Best results for me have been to add 1 cup water, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 Tbsp sugar, and 2 Tbsp oil into a 2 quart saucepan and bring to a boil. Shut off the heat and add 1 cup flour, and beat with a wooden spoon until smooth (your hands will cramp up by the end). Let cool 5-10 minutes, then beat 1 egg into the dough and beat with a wooden spoon until smooth again. This will give you perfect churros with crispy outside and creamy middles, but no eggy flavor. Frying temp which has worked best for me is between 375-400F depending on the thickness of the churro you make.
