Extremely Disappointing
I am not an authority on cosmetic ingredients, but I did expect to get a more detailed discussion on each ingredient than I can pick-up free of charge online. Obviously, the mistake is mine, and my expectations were too high, but I'm staggered by the lack of relevant information. Most online suppliers actually provide a more detailed account of their cosmetic ingredients; for free. You'll do better on Wikipedia if you already know the names of the items that you are looking for. The authors didn't even see fit to include Epsom Salts, or any kind of proper discussion on Magnesium Sulphate. I actually bought this book for reference purposes for my own writing, so that I wasn't citing from Wikipedia all the time, you cannot cite any piece of this book without thoroughly checking it out first. It seems to be some sort of self-publishing, and they appear to be promoting a beauty course. They certainly did not gain my trust, and if their beauty courses are like this, it is no advertisement. I was already going to include a decent dictionary/encyclopedia of cosmetic ingredients for the make-it-yourself and home spa market. I knew there was a gap in the market, I just didn't know how wide until now!

Un super livre pour tout le monde. Pas que les esthéticiennes ou des pros. Pour bien savoir qu'est-ce qu'il y a dans les produits qu'on utilise tous les jours.
