Points of Note Listed
1. This is for the Black Bottle, Wynns Professional Turbo Diesel Cleaner 2. The Professional version comes in 500ml, the normal retail bottle comes in 325ml, both are good. 3. I have a 2015 BMW 520D M Sport Auto. The car performed well before the Turbo Diesel cleaner, I emptied the contents of the bottle into the tank, and filled the tank to full. 4. After about 80 Miles I started to see a noticeable difference in responsiveness of the car. Not an imagined difference, a real difference, I could honestly feel it. It made a good car better. 5. I like that it also cleans the EGR valve without the need to take things apart to spray something into it. I suppose that's not applicable to a car that's broken down due to the EGR valve clogging with carbon, but as a routine maintenance for one that's not I think this stuff is good for both the Turbo and the EGR valve. I use this periodically, every 3rd tank. I do as follows Tank 1: Redex Injector Cleaner (cheap at tesco when half price) Tank 2: Redex DPF Cleaner (Same reason) Tank 3: Either Wynns Professional Diesel Turbo Cleaner or the normal purple 325ml bottle (both are good)... all 3 of these cleaners work well, and my car never breaks down (it's also serviced routinely) Think I'm wasting money? Think you won't bother? Well, let your Turbo Vanes get heavy with Carbon Deposits and the solenoid motor work harder till it burns out and your car goes into limp mode in the middle of the motorway (not it didn’t happen to me, because I learned from other people’s mistakes, that’s what smart people do) , and when your Turbo fails and the garage wants a grand or more for a new turbo and your car’s off the road for a few days, with no courtesy car given due to no facility to clean it to Covid levels… then you realise not keeping the Turbo clean is a false economy. Better to pay a little extra now regularly than have the hassle of the aforementioned later. Same goes for the DPF Cleaner and Injector Cleaners... and the added bonus is you get to drive a car that performs as well as it should, it feels like a new car to drive once everything's cleaned out.

It worked for my sticking turbo vanes
My car was struggling with surging issues, where the car would overboost then underboost. I checked the N75 actuator and all seemed to be working, but noticed the turbo vane rod was not moving smoothly. I thought it would be a turbo out job to strip down and clean. But thought I would give this a go first as it was only £13. I didnt have high expectations to be honest. But after a few trips on the motorway (60miles total) the surging stopped completely. So in my case it has definitely solved my sticking vane issue, for now at least.

Strong eggy smell but might be working
Bought this for my 21 year old T5 Van. Thought I would give it a go. Well all I can say is that it seems to be doing something because there is a distinct eggy smell since putting it in a full tank of diesel. Hopefully I’ll notice the difference once it’s burnt off what it is doing and the smell disappears

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Worth Sticking With
I’d been having issues with my diesel going into limp mode from turbo overboost, which I was told was down to sticking vanes. Rather than dive straight into an expensive strip-down, I decided to try this first. I’ve actually used two bottles of Wynn’s Turbo Cleaner over the last few months, and I can say it really does help. The first bottle made some difference — the car felt a bit smoother and the boost wasn’t spiking as badly — but it was after the second treatment that I noticed a proper improvement. The turbo now spools much more cleanly, no sudden overboost, and the engine just feels healthier overall. It’s not an instant miracle fix, but if you’re patient and give it time to work through, it can save you a lot of hassle and money. For me, it’s been well worth it.

Wynns diesel turbo cleaner - engine warning light/limp mode.
Wynns Diesel turbo cleaner - Professional (black bottle), I have a BMW E91 320d, was getting intermittent engine warning light and would go into limp mode, after getting an ODB reader found it was the turbo not opening/closing correctly meaning overboost. Put this stuff in with 40L of shell ultimate diesel, worth a punt than the £1500+ cost to replace the turbo, well after about 15miles I tried to accelerate hard which always brought up the engine warning light and limp mode but today nothing, could not get the engine warning light to come on.. Was very sceptical but after reading some of the reviews of similar issues thought it was worth a go, no reason to beleive this wont last, fantastic..

Easy to add to fuel
Added to my fuel when next filled up. Not sure whether it has done any good but engine seems to be running a little better but can’t really confirm

My 2005 Chevy 2500HD Duramax engine was indicating a turbo vane geometry fault. Dealer quoted $4500 to replace the turbo but the truck was running okay so I decided to see if this would clear it. Needless to say one bottle did the job. The code came back but again a bottle cleared it.

Hopefully the Wynn’s Diesel Turbo cleaner works as described as I haven’t had a chance to try it yet, will comment on it’s performance after I use it.
