Nice little wooden tree. I was skeptical of it having any real effect on the quality of the espresso shots, but I am getting consistently excellent shots now. Minimal time and effort yields noticeably improved quality. Great price too.

This is an excellent WDT Tool both in terms of quality and function. It very well made from solid walnut. Combined with a puck screen also from Walnut Coffee, I've seen an obvious reduction in channeling (with a bottomless portafilter) and I've been able to extract more volume of espresso. My wife/kids think that the tree looks "cute". And while it might be labeled a "Christmas Tree", I'll be leaving it out year round...it passes for just an evergreen tree.

Bought this for myself as a Christmas present and it's a beautiful piece, especially for the money. Just a few dollars more than many of the other entry-level WDTs. Needles are shorter than another WDT I have but I actually prefer the control and grip I have with the little tree tool, in addition to the protection provided by the holder. Yes, you have to pay attention and not just jam the thin needles back in the holder, but it fits easily and is not difficult. But hey, espresso fanatics are accustomed to paying attention to details. Definitely one to leave on the countertop all year round.

This has been fun to use & experiment with. I found that keeping all of the needles on was not very beneficial. The grounds got clumped around, and were not getting well distributed. Once I took a few of the needles out, the tool worked great!

Great WDT for espresso and looks cool in the kitchen! I keep it out all year round.

I can't get over how cute this is. It looks great on my coffee bar. It works really well too and clean up is a breeze.

u can find better alternatives for less money

At first I was skeptical about the shape and it would be awkward to hold, but it's really not and It does the job! Sometimes its a little hard to set the needles back into the holder, but that's more user error then anything.
