Just started feeding this to our 5mth old Yorkie pup. He loves it, gets excited when we prep his meat and has not upset his tum at all. Smells great - better than some human grade ready meals (not that difficult I suppose!) not like wet dog food I remember from years ago.... the smell of 'Chappie' still turns my stomach! Visible herbs, veg, meat, and not a lot of jelly just shows the quality in comparison to the traditional main players in the market. All the bits and pieces in it seem to keeps pup interested. Because he is still so small at the moment, we free feed dry food all day and feed him a meaty meal as we have our teatime. We portion the tin into 5 and freeze what isn't fed on the first day. It defrosts easily in the fridge overnight, and soon comes up to room temp in a couple of hours before we feed him. It doesn't go mushy or wet and he loves it just the same. I just hope the adult food is as good and interesting for when he is older!

I have been quite skeptical from reading the reviews and probably some people have received bad or given accidentally expired food. However to make this judgement fair, companies can sometimes make mistakes and compensate a full refund or exchange a fresh new batch of food. It is the owners responsibility to check the food before giving it to your dog so in case they do accidentally send you a expired batch. But stating the food rubbish just because it is not for your dog, it’s not for everyone’s preferences or their dogs. My 4 month pup changed to lily’s kitchen straight after her breeder gave her a food brand that was full of artificial additives which is why she prefered meals with bits of vegetables and meat not just a full on paste! I noticed a huge difference in her lifestyle while on lily’s kitchen, easy for her to digest and safe for her stomach. My pup is very picky with dry kibble and tried several times to wean her but we respected she preferred wet only foods. As long whatever is best for her. I would say in my opinion, lily’s kitchen is good but not for everyone who will prefer it for their dogs.

I like other reviewers here I found that all tins I had ordered were apparently blown - meaning I could depress the top and bottoms of the tins. Finding this coincided with my dog suffering tomach issues. I cancelled my subscription order as I was unsure if this is a manufacturing issue or if it is due to how they are stored. I then contacted Lily’s Kitchen and they informed me that this is normal and is due to the way they manufacture the food. They fill the tins with the raw ingredients, then seal and heat the tins to cook the food inside. According to them, as they only use quality ingredients the cooking process causes the food inside to shrink and causes a cavity in the tin which then means you are able to depress the bottom or top of the tin. They have assured me that the product inside is safe for my dog to eat. What I did subsequently find out is that they have changed the recipes of some of their tinned food so this may have been the cause of my dogs stomach problems. I have found Lily’s Kitchen food to be good quality overall and continue to feed my dog the kibble from the same range.

Puppy loves this. You can really see and smell the quality and the meat pieces. No cheap fillers or additives, my frenchie has a sensitive tummy but her poos were perfect on this.

Il nostro cucciolo le divora con entusiasmo e quegli occhioni che vedete in foto parlano da soli! 😍 La consistenza è compatta ma non troppo secca, perfetta da servire sia da sola che mescolata alle crocchette. L’etichetta parla chiaro: ingredienti selezionati e nessun riempitivo inutile. Dentro si trova davvero ciò che viene dichiarato: tacchino fresco, patate dolci, zucca, erbe botaniche… e l’olio di salmone per un pelo splendente! Unico difetto? Il prezzo un po’ alto, che però si spiega con la qualità premium del prodotto. Per fortuna ogni tanto Amazon ci viene incontro con qualche offerta e noi facciamo scorta! Il cucciolo ringrazia, e io pure. 🐾💙
