I bought this battery for my Dell Latitude 5490 laptop which is about 3 years old. It doesn't see much use but i normally fired it up and charged it periodically, but the battery was flaky. I would fully charge it, then the next day boot up, it would show a full charge, and then within seconds freeze up and the battery would be dead. I fought with that for several months, but last week ordered this battery. It came in a box with a screw driver. Screws came out easily, the old battery was smaller, the new one fit like a glove and now my laptop is back in action and appears to have a much longer battery life than when brand new. Very happy.

Overall: new battery works well in my HP 15 notebook. Longevity? Who knows, only time will tell. I will say that it is a dead on physical match for the old one (although it is a 4 cell rather than a 3 cell like the original but that does not seem like a problem but rather is a 'plus'). The price was good - I sort-of hate to spend to much on the HP 15 as it is rather limited in technical specs (RAM and a slow processor being the two killers) but, with a bit of luck and 8 GB memory stick and switching to Linux Mint, will be good. At least it will be scrapped out!!

Best $35 I could have spent on this laptop. I moved from 2 hours of battery life to 7. The installation was fairly easy with plenty of help on YouTube. One word of caution, it does not come with the power cord which means you have to remove the existing one which is a little tricky. Very fragile parts that feel they are too comfortable to move hence need considerable motivation. Google Gemini helped a lot on this little task.

This battery installed easily and worked correctly in my XPS 15 9570. It's been three weeks - so far, so good. Dell only offers the 3-cell replacement, but I need the longer battery life of the 4-cell, so I bought this much less costly aftermarket part. If your laptop doesn't have an internal 2.5" SATA SSD, then the 4-cell battery should work ok. So far, so good. If you don't already have the appropriate "star" screwdriver, the one included in the kit should work fine. One more thing. The original battery (now 6 years old) was still working, but the cells had expanded, pressing on the trackpad and preventing the switches from working.

Fit the Dell Latitude 3500 just fine even though it is not in the description or title. I am a little concerned that the cells are a thin that the OEM one. According to HWiNFO64, it is listed as an SMP DELL VM73283 battery. Not sure who the real manufacturer is, but time will tell how good of a battery this is.

No instructions Battery was identical to the original just a different brand it fit in easily. Computer working fine.

E5550 - 1 white 4 amber blinking - No Battery Installed. Tried reseating cable. Tried leaving to "charge" for 30 minutes. Nothing. Bad battery out of the box. Plugged the original battery back in and it works fine.

Item works fine, it has an easy installation, so far the item has been working for the past few months around 4 and the charging ability was well. Quality was not the best, but not the worst either. And couldnt fit well with the screws, the battery was slightly larger than required and Dims were not made to OEM specifications.
