Totally BambooBA208551 Salt/Spice Box, Magnetic, 3 Levels

This is an AMAZING salt/pepper cellar..As it does not contain metal (save for a magnet in the outer shell) there's nothing for the salt to corrode. The bamboo helps to keep the salt moist (I prefer Sel de Fleur) - a more 'wet' salt, and I find conventional salt pigs dry this expensive, fine salt. I've also found that adding a tiny bit of olive oil to the entire box not only makes it gleam, but also helps to preserve the salt so much better.My only grumble is that the magnets don't align very well when it is closed. A second magnet should help hold it closed. Just be aware - picking it up it can swing open.. so it does need to be handled with care.

Cant use this enough. It is strong and sturdy and looks beautiful on my kitchen counter.

It’s an attractive piece. Only worry, which other reviewers mention, is that the ‘iron rod/hinge’ linking the 3 sections, seems flimsy. Can imagine that if people lift it up by the top section too often, it will weaken the whole structure ...will see.

This bamboo 3 tiered salt box is ideal . Easy to open and easily shut, takes little space on the kitchen counter too.

First product was faulty. Contacted Amazon get new one in 4 days. Great item overall.
