Does what it's supposed to do
This is a very decent product. I've been taking supplements for many years. Acetyl-l-carnitine is one of my favourites to use, but not 365 days a year. 250mg of ALC per day is more than enough to stimulate a massive boost in metabolism, fat burning, increased energy, more intense focus. The carnitine in this product does that perfectly well, in my experience of taking it for a month now, on and off. See, I take it 20-30 mins before working out, which I do 3-4 times a week. It is whilst I work out that I feel the effects of the carnitine. Carnitine works to its potential when we're already active, because of what it does in the body, which is this: When you ingest carnitine, it races through the body looking for all the fat and undigested, stored stuff, goes up to it and says 'Yo! time for you to move on, let's send you into the power centre of all the cells where you can burn and become energy instead.' Please don't think carnitine heats you up in any way from the inside like a chilli would, say. No, carnitine does not produce heat. It does produce somewhat of a rush, nothing mental though, this is not a mental stimulant of any kind. This is purely energy-based amino power. Carnitine is my God. I'm joking, but no I do think it has many far-reaching benefits beyond those I can talk about. I do not take carnitine every day, I use it to boost the physical exertion I'm about to do, or boost the mid-point so I can finish with strength, power and endurance. Carnitine enables the body to do that so well. I have found that if I take it every day I soon stop feeling its effects. It boosts the metabolism into turbo-charged mode for a little while. You will likely pee more. Adequate hydration is of course always important, and even more so when taking carnitine. Please read that last sentence again. Make sure you have eaten on the day you take carnitine, and that you wait at least 2, ideally 3 hours after eating before taking it. Food will interfere with the job carnitine has to do in the body, that goes for ALA too. Do not think you can have a sneaky snack of any kind, healthy or not, then take carnitine capsules and just burn it away. Nope. Won't work. And please, for your own safety, believe me when I say there is absolutely no need to take more than one of these bad boys a day. Seriously. Boosting the metabolism sounds cool man, until you pass out somewhere because your heart was a racing and the rest of you couldn't keep up. Plus, if as a way of life you drink less than 2.5 litres of water a day, you and carnitine might not be able to have a long-lasting relationship. And that would be a shame. Respect the aminos and they'll respond in kind. Each of them individually are worth looking into. Alpha lipoic acid is also, among other things, responsible for energy-production, so the combination of ALC and ALA is a non-religious blessing to those of us who've discovered the greatness of these two compounds. I have never found this specific combo in the health food shops, only online, and that's cool because this company shipped my order fast and ahead of schedule, and, oh yeah, don't forget, whatever these capsules cost at the time of you thinking to buy them, you're getting 120 day's worth in a single bottle, if you take it every day, more if not. I think you'll agree that's a fab deal. Go ahead and get this if you're into any form of exercise, movement, sport, activity etc. If you're reading this, you have heard the call of the carnitine. I recommend you answer that call. Give these bad boys a go. Oh, before I go, how the heck could I neglect to mention this crucial point. Do not buy L-carnitine products, unless they come together with Acetyl-l-carnitine. Did you see what I did there? I tested you. Do you know your ALC from your LC? If you take the amino acid l-carnitine, it does indeed have an almost identical function to the Acetyl- form, but another person who's not me can explain why it does not create an identical effect in the body. I think it might be that the body breaks l-carnitine down into the acetyl form, and then the body can utilise it. So acetyl is the pre-digested, if you will, form. This explains why taking amino acids far outweighs the pros of taking extra protein, like powders and whatnot. Why take whey (or other type, name it) when the body only goes and burns half of it just breaking it down into the amino acids that we need to build the blocks of DNA, skeletal muscle, everything. It's not protein we need, it's the aminos we get from our protein sources that we need. Once I ditched protein powders, my digestion improved, and when I took amino acids instead, basing my extra intake of aminos around my workouts and not my meals, and making sure I was tracking what I ate, things skyrocketed. May it skyrocket for you too.

Good value for money
Good product, good price, quick delivery, it deserves 5 stars but people often think a 5 star review might be fake.

Doesit helps with memory loss.
I purchased this, because I heard the ingredients it contained could help with memory loss. I haven't been taking the pills long enough to form a conclusive verdict, as it can take up to 3 months to do so. Wish me luck.

Weight loss
Well I haven’t lost any weight since taking this product twice daily for the past month. Can give you stomach cramps but don’t last to long if you can get through it. Not sure if it’s given me any health benefits. It hasn’t helped my bowel movement. I’ve started eating more fruit ie apples and pears which have helped more. Will I give it another month maybe m, not sure, but I’m sure i should have seen some improvement by now.
