Easy to hanlde and a great little tool - also for a prof. joiner
I like that little tool. Works perfectly fine and does what it should. Easy to adjust and use.

This should come with a warning
Warning: Once you’ve bought your router bits for this, you are going to want to edge and cut everything in site. It’s a brilliant tool, easy to use, and gives great results. I bought a cheap set of router bits and they work great.

Game Changer; Makes routing a doddle, so easy to use and battery power, makes it quick and easy to setup. Auto power off lock is a great safety feature. Inbuilt tool illumination by LED is greate.

Excellent routing
I purchased this Makita router for some woodworking projects and add to my arsenal of Makita tools. The fact it is battery powers makes this much safer using the standard Makia 18V LXT batteries used in a wide range of Makita tools. Supplied in the Makita stackable MaKpac case, this is supplied with wrench, guard, fence and instructions. I am fairly new to routing but so far this has been excellent and enabled me to complete some good wooden projects. I would recommend this for those invested (or starting out) in the Makita ecosystem.

Great router
I'm a joiner and wanted a decent quality lightweight router to put in my tool box (on-site). This does it, good value and works a treat. Highly recommend!

Watch the various reviews available, fine adjustment not easy but if you are on Makita platform for batteries then live with this one element and you will be really happy. I’ve done a few jobs with it so far and am really pleased

Cuts hinges and latches easy!
I like this product alot it's very reliable and it is great for mortice locks on doors as well as latches. Very quick and easy to use. Worth every penny as saves so much time and depth adjustment is very easy to do and is spot on for any depth for example hinges and latches. Also comes with a guide that is very easy and simple to set up I have found no use to buy the plunge base with this router the trimmer base works fine and visibly in work piece is very good!
