Excellent Hidaway for counter space saving!
I would buy 2 if my effiecient appartment would allow it, however it wouldn't. This is most sturdy. and good looing. I have to admit however, i had to send my back... why? Because it fit like a glove in the space i needed it in... that sounds good right? Not in this case, if it fits EXACTLY in the space intended, make sure there is no lip infront that will prevent you from opening it. It fit like a puzzle piece completing a puzzle, but i couldn't open it because i had about 1 1/4 : ip that wouldn't allow me to open/ putll down on it. The description does mention this, but, unless you experience it for yourself, you may not realized what it actually meant. No stars Lost. I would still attempt this if I had another opportunity. PS, when pulling it down, the screws on the side hindge is tight, You have to loosen a little to make it the right friction to pull open. The reason that is there is so, you don't open you spice rack too quickly and possibly make the spices fly out of the contraption. I state this as a precaution, but honestly I don't think this is an actual issue.

Installation
Great idea. Functions well. Very good woodwork. Difficult to install. It mounts on four screws heads that have to be aligned under cabinet then slid into slots. My cabinet is not deep enough to fully slide in place plus mine have a lip on front that limits room. I ended up drilling down from inside and screwing from the top of the shelf. A real PITA. Plus the little clips to hold the tray up are a joke. Flimsy and difficult to use.

Under counter spice rack.
Years ago I made somthing similar to this concept because i couldnt find anythig online. Now there is some available but my cupboards are small and wouldnt fit. I came across this one, and with the measurements it would fit. When i got it i relized it has those hook slide connectors ( put line up screw under cupboard than and you put the board on, by aligning it up and slide the board toward you n the screw will slide in the smaller channel n this is how it locks on n up) the problem i have is, once i lock it on and pull the shelf down than put it back up to lock it up , the whole thing slides back to far and comes out and off. I cant put the screws farther back because it is as back as it can go because my cupboards are small. So im gonna have to trim the top back bord a little so i can have it wrap around the bottom of my back cupboard plate, ( that is up against my wall)which will give me more room and i can put my screws father back and and it wont slide off. ( sounds confusing sorry) im not giving up. One this is it should of came with a templete so u could use to place the screws, n the other thing is the screws it came with were to long for my cupboard and would of poked thru the bottom of the inside of my cupboard. It is nice looking, which i will paint white to match my cupboards once installed properly and to its fittings. Mine came all put together, bit very easy to disassemble and assemble back. And i do think even though i paid only $ 37.99, it should be be maybe closer to 29.99. But it is a nice product n once i alter it, it will help give me more space in my cupboards and help organization.

Needs better hinges; not well constructed.
It’s functional but the hinges that clasp on the screws are flimsy. Edited: Actually, it is not worth the price. After using it 3-4 times, it came out of the cabinet. It really is not a good purchase. Changed my rating to 1 star.

Easy to install after finding proper screws.
Like others mentioned, the mounting screws provided were way too long. Had to get some 3/4” screws so they would not be protruding into the cabinet space above. We’ve got it loaded with glass spice containers and everything seems sturdy so far. Seems to hold a decent number of spice jars. It definitely serves its purpose by freeing up some much needed space in our relatively small kitchen. The moving arms seem like they would be the weak spot and I’ve cautioned my wife to always open and close this dubious contraption using two hands. You the reader should also heed my advice in this regard. So we’ll see how well it holds up. Will update if anything catastrophic should occur. Five stars for now.

Great idea.. Poor execution.
The idea was great. The execution leaves much to be desired. Pros: Tucks away under the cabinet nicely. Looks nice. Cons: Mounting is questionable. Not well thought out. Side 'latches' are more for decoration and don't hold.. at all. The top row of spices fall out the back (top when looking at it extended). Don't even try to put glass bottle spices. Best to get a set of plastic ones.

not as good as others
there is one on this site that costs more, buy that one. This one is not too sturdy and hard to use.

Not recommended unless installer is pretty handy
I do not receommend this item unless you are a fairly handy person. I am an engineer and had to spend a significant amount of time laying out the installation, making a templet for setting the screws. And the screws are too long for the average household cabinet. Fully installed they come through the top of the cabinet floor several millimeters so I had to use a drimel tool to grind the protrusions down to keep them from damaging the dishes in the cabinet. Next, I had to modifiy the item because it is not really made so that it can be adjusted to get a snug and tight fit. I made it work but I'm fairly handy and and added shims and blocks after installation to get a fixed and snug fit.

Life would be easier if a pattern for the screw holes was provided, on say a slightly larger notes sheet. Notes say screw pattern is 445 x 145mm, mine was 442 x 145, not much off, but enough to make it impossible to drill new holes close by. Suggest other buyers measure what you get, dont rely on the notes! It is a real effort to locate and drill holes upwards into a cupboard floor! I drilled 2 holes in each rail (front and back)for 3mm screws, overdrilled 6mm halfway through, removed the rails from the platform, mounted the rails on the cupboard base in final position, fitted 4 new screws into the cupboard floor. Refitted the platform. Its not coming down now!
