This really works!
I have to admit I was sceptical about ordering this, but needed to try something that would save me excessive trips to see an osteopath. I am a 42 year old woman, relatively healthy but due to having worked in an office for more or less my entire career, back pain is something I have suffered with since I was 25. I saw an osteopath regularly from the age of 25 until my early thirties, and then had to go back every few months for top up sessions. I periodically suffer from all the typical symptoms of sitting in an office chair for 8 hours a day. Tension in the shoulders and arching of the top half of my back leaning forward to use my keyboard (all things I do try to stay conscious of to correct myself from doing throughout the day, but hey... in an ideal world!)Anyway, this product arrived quickly and as expected. Packing nice and simple. Just have to clip the arching section to the base,...ladies this may give your arms a brief workout to bend and slot into position. Now I find the lowest arch works wonders! I really don't think you need to go to the higher levels unless you are into yoga or like an excessively good stretch and are perhaps more flexible than those of us with real back trouble.I have used this several times now when the top half of my back feels really tight and I become aware that I am hunching slightly. Simply rest it on the floor, on carpet is best (I wouldn't attempt this on laminated or hard floors), place the widest end at the base of your spine and slowly allow yourself to lay backwards. Then breathe deeply until you can feel your back sinking more and more into the corrector. I find when I first do this, initially I have so much tension I really can't relax into it, but after about 5 minutes or so it feels so lovely I have very nearly fallen asleep on it. I have only used the side with the little nodules on it, but I find this has a way of pressing into the muscles down either side of the spine to free up most of the tension which is great. This really does help to open up the spinal column and provides relief for all those tight knotting sensations. For me this was a major find and I have no hesitation in recommending this product.

Not Just A Gimmick !!!
I don't usually write many reviews but I feel I have to leave some feedback for this product.I have been suffering for over 3 years with a bulging discs in my C6/C7 which when not on medication I was in extreme pain (9-10), even on med's my pain was a 3-4 plus the side effects that nerve drugs come with, after months of physiotherapy and scans, I was still not better off....After a bit of googling and what not I stumbled across this contraption, now there are a few alternatives some cheaper some more expensive but the reviews are mainly positive about this particular unit I thought I would take a punt on one myself. I was sceptical it would help with my upper back/neck problem, but I was willing to try anything. After just 2 days I felt like the pain in my neck/shoulders had lifted by over half, after 1 week I could sleep without waking in pain, after 2 weeks I thought I would stop taking my medication... I am 3 weeks plus using this now and I still don't take any meds, apart from the odd off the shelf pain killer, this has literally saved my sanity...I use this of an evening after the kids are in bed, I put on some head phones, play some relaxing music and give it 10-15mins on the intermediate level (Started off with 2x5mins beginner sessions until I felt comfortable to got intermediate). Use it with a low pillow or a neck support if your suffering with your neck.I would pay hundreds for one of these it has helped so much, Thanks to the person who ever came up with this device its stopped me from losing my mind.... If you buy one I hope it works as well for you as it has for me...

Adjustable heights are useful
I've found this a useful tool to help loosen up my back and pop everything back into place. I no longer have to find random objects which provide the right contour and the I find adjustable heights suit different areas of my back.I feel it's fairly sturdy and I have no worry about it supporting my weight when I lie on it. I certainly don't have to use it all the time, but when I feel back pain coming on it does help solve the issue before allowing it to get any worse.I have however only given it 4 stars as I feel that it's sometimes difficult to adjust the height of the arch - you have to be quite strong to bend the plastic enough to fit into the slots.

I stumbled on this by chance and after reading all the positive reviews for the original product I decided to give this one with the 'knobbles' a go. I have been using it for around 3-4 weeks now on level 1 and I have gone from waking up every morning with pain radiating from the middle of my spine (if I was lucky enough to make it through the night without the pain waking me) to waking up feeling fine. I have mild scoliosis, which I can tell is still there, but I'm really happy with how much better my back is feeling and so quickly! For note I am quite young and active, so I have strong back muscles so the knobbles are not the least bit uncomfortable on my back, but they may not suit everyone. You can just turn the arch round though, there is a smooth side too. I have also recently been using a foam seat wedge while driving and an MSM cream every morning, which may have assisted. I really believe it's this product which has made the biggest difference though.
