Absolutely brilliant! I read the reviews, but was sceptical because I had already invested in several products which had done absolutely nothing at all. So I decided I really had nothing to lose, as it was this or get a new toilet fitted. Although there was very bad staining on the toilet bowl, I simply followed the instructions and nothing more. The first application removed almost all of the staining, together with staining under the rim (that I was previously unaware of). I guess the limescale had been building up for who knows how many years before I moved in. I did then use a toilet brush to remove the lose debris and applied a second application, again straight from the bottle. In total it was on for around 8 hours, but only because I had forgotten about the second application. I wish I had taken before photos but I didn't because in all honesty, I didn't think this product would work. I bought this product a couple of months ago now and I still marvel at how sparkly clean the toilet is! After my initial success I did use it on a horrible stain in the bathroom sink, which only took one short application. The kitchen sink also came up like new, although it didn't really need it. I still have over half a bottle left but will definitely buy this product again when I run out. Bottom line, if it can clean the toilet I inherited, it will clean absolutely anything.

I live in an area that's absolutely terrible for hard water & I was totally fed up with all the hidden limescale/uriscale, & general nastiness that builds up under the rim of the bowl. It was even affecting the actual water dispersal as the toilet was flushed too & it really was starting to pong despite daily bleachings. Supermarket toilet cleaners, bleach (or even Cillit Bang/Viakal that usually eats its way through scale very effectively) just wouldn't deal with it or break this nastiness down at all. Additionally, they're just not thick enough to be persistent but this toilet cleaner is very thick indeed which allows it to cling to the nastiness for longer & get the job done. Personally, I also needed something strong & effective enough to do the job without me having to scrub around & under the rim of the toilet bowl due to severe disabilities. Ultimately, it took 3 separate applications & I used up the whole bottle whilst leaving it as long as humanly possible in between flushes each time. However, over the span of a day it gradually broke down more & more of the awful scale with each application & I visibly noticed large clumps of foamy goo falling out from under the rim. (I also noticed the smell getting considerably worse for a few hours after application which was a further sign that this cleaner was successfully eating its way through all of the nasty scale/deposits.) I DIDN'T NEED TO SCRUB AT ALL EITHER. After the final application had, had sufficient time to do it's job I simply flushed the toilet & wiped around under the rim & the scale was completely gone. (I've spent a small fortune on other products trying to sort this problem out over time, then one relatively cheap bottle ended up doing the job entirely in less than 9 hours with no effort required at all.) Everything is all completely smooth under the rim like new, the toilet is actually flushing properly again for the water dispersal, & no more nasty niffs at all. SUCCESS!!!! I've ordered another bottle for future use as this cleaner is highly effective with absolutely ZERO EFFORT required, (the longer you can leave it applied the better & multiple applications may be required for long term build ups as well). I'll just use it more frequently in smaller amounts in the future so the toilet rim doesn't ever get as bad as it had in the first place. A second bottle should go a lot further than the first. Very straightforward to use & no special handling required at all. Whilst it is VERY effective it is quite pricey so I'm dropping a star for value for money, otherwise I'd happily recommend it & as noted I am ordering again myself. 4/5.

Perfect for the limescale, left it for 30-40 minutes and it looks as good as new. Seriously 100% recommend if you want this result.

Due to the cistern used in the bathroom toilet quite encrusted patches of limescale formed. This product does remove limescale, but only thin light deposits. We've used almost the whole bottle on around six applications, some with toilet paper soaked with the product and applied to the area and left over night, and that deposit still remains. The only product that used to get rid of bad deposits was strong acid based drain cleaner, which now is no longer sold to general public. However Acid based wheel cleaner for cars works well.

Honestly, the best toilet cleaner I have ever used. We had really stubborn limescale stains at the bottom of our toilet bowl, tried bleach (which temporarily removed the colour) even got 5L of white vinegar and mixed with bicarbonate, it worked but it took a lot of scrubbing and stinging eyes and hands- not to mention the smell of the vinegar lingering for DAYS! This cleaner is a pretty pink colour so you can see exactly when you have placed it, it does not have a strong odour and works effortlessly. I normally put in the toilet before bed when I notice the buildup, let it sit for 7/8 hours while I sleep and then scrub to toilet- good as new!

I’ve finally found a product that does what it advertises! Easy to use squeezy bottle , it gets right under the rim of the toilet . I left it around the bowl over night . All these months of bleaching and scrubbing did absolutely nothing to remove the stains . We live in a hard water area so the build up of scale along with everything else was becoming a problem . The toilet looks as good as good as new . I will definitely be ordering more for that once a month stain removal !

Yeah this works to a point as all the hard water marks clean up but there's still dark marks at the bottom of the loo,so a bit mixed on this one.
