I kept getting suet feeders that were made of wood and they just did not stand up for more than a month or two before they fell apart where they were stapled and/or tacked. I saw this feeder that is all metal and so I thought I'd try it. It is perfect! Not only does it not fall apart when my squirrels insist upon pulling it down, but the slots for the suet are big enough to easily hold the larger cakes of suet and are easily refilled. Also, the birds seem to love it and can easily perch while feeding. It worked out so well that I bought another one to replace my second suet feeder. The squirrels still try to get to it and end up pulling it down, but the feeder is well made and the fall to the ground does not affect it.

Already had one and wanted another because of it ease in loading, removing from hanger and sturdiness. In other words apparently my squirrels don't stand a chance in tearing it down -- another style I have, not so much -- they just laugh and do it anyway!

09/25/23 - This is a good product. It is made well! The suet cakes are very easy to set up. I am ordering another in a few days. Kingsyard is a very good business for bird feeder supplies. I've bought two other seed feeders and have been very pleased with the quality of the items and ease of use.

We were looking for a new suet feeder that is squirrel proof, less messy loading and attractive. This one is a winner!

It appears to be well built. I will be purchasing a second one.

I like the construction of the feeder. It is sturdy and hoping the squirrels can't get into it.

Love the green color and little chimney on the top. Easy to replace suets. Nice to be able to give the birds 2-suet choices and have to fill he feeder less often with capacity for 2. Would buy again and recommend.

Instead they just take the whole thing so be mindful where you out it or in the morning you will play hide and seek trying to find it.They cannot lift off the lid! That is a great feature. That being said, I too struggle a bit but that’s just the lack of strength in my fingers.Good design overall
