As an owner of a very fluffy double coated dog, these tools have been amazing during his most recent shedding. I previously had a rake but it was too small and not effective enough, this one with the larger head and higher number of 'teeth' is definitely an upgrade. The real winner though is the comb. It's a good large comb, glides through his fur nicely, and is super easy to grab the excess fur off to clean because the teeth aren't too close together causing everything to get stuck like our old comb. They have a quality feel and are great value for money, I've paid more for things that worked half as well. Really like both these products and have been such an improvement to our daily brush routine during the dreaded fur storm months.

We live in the tropics and this comb worked wonders to thin the costs of my long haired German shepherds. You need to go very gently the first time as it was a little uncomfortable for the dogs. Once the cost is fully groomed it is very easy to use and the dogs enjoyed it. Removed a massive amount of hair that is wonderful so the dogs won’t shed all over my house. Great tool.

This is a nice set! I use on German Shepherd that is at times, double coated. And when the weather warms up the coat needs RAKING. Very effective for fur removal, easy to clean and easy to use - if the dog remains calm

Excellent comb, used on rottweiler, Labrador and border terrior. Good value

I had my reservations a rake is what is usually advised for dogs with an undercoat. The 'rake' in this product isn't a rake and is designed to 'cut' through tangles. Any reviews that say it doesn't cut through tangles are mistaken, look at the inner edge of the combs, they are sharpened knife edges. It does remove tangles well bit is mediocre at best for removing undercoat. We have an alaskan Malamute and will be going back to his usual rake (with straight teeth). I found its performance to be disappointing after reading the reviews.

The de-matting comb is by far the best cat comb we have purchased. Previously we had about 5 different supermarket and pet shop/vet bought products, none of which come close to the quality and effectiveness of this one. We own two ragdoll cats. One is semi long haired, has fur that is soft and smooth, loves being groomed and spends copious hours cleaning herself. The other one is huge, very long haired, very lazy, doesn't wash himself as much as he should, gets terrible mats especially around the arm pits and hates being groomed. Having tried the de-matting tool on both, it sends our semi long-haired into ecstasy and she keeps coming back for more. The other one tolerates it a lot better than anything we have previously tried (about 5 -6 minutes before he gets really bored, so we keep having to try again) and it is bringing out an unbelievable quantity of loose fur - absolutely incredible! - so worth persevering with, even for cats reluctant to being groomed. The ends of the comb are completely non-scratching, so it doesn't scratch their skin at all, although you have to be careful not to over pull on the matts and tease them out gently. I've also used it on my carpets and it brings up any loose fur on them wonderfully. Particularly useful on the vertical edges of the stair carpet which is resistant to the vacuum hose. My old very fluffy cat is having difficulty grooming and had clumps of hair everywhere. This is the best brush I have ever used and he doesn't mind as he lets me brush him without fuss even when the hair pulls a bit. 100% recommend and great price!

Mijn kat houdt niet van vachtverzorging. Ook met deze is hij geen fan, maar het moet gebeuren met z’n lange vacht. Ik gebruik hem geregeld als ik hem dan een likmat geef of hij aan het eten is. Dan lukt het kammen goed. En de klitten gaan er met deze kam moeiteloos uit en er komt ook veel los onderhaar uit.

Il kit comprende un pettine con denti dritti ed una spazzola per i nodi con denti uncinati e affilati. Entrambi hanno due modalità di utilizzo, da un lato i denti sono più fitti e dall'altro sono meno fitti, per situazioni più intricate o per se il pelo è più lungo. La qualità dei materiali è eccellente. Si percepisce a mano la robustezza, mentre dopo quasi un anno all'esterno, non presentano segni di ossidazione. Il pettine è decisamente più utile ed efficace. Si riesce a portare via delicatamente il pelo morto senza dare fastidio, cominciando con il lato dove i denti sono meno fitti, per finire con l'altro lato che altrimenti fatica a districare il pelo. La spazzola per i nodi risulta fastidiosa al mio cagnolone. La utilizzo delicatamente per le situazioni difficili, come intorno al collare dove si creano molti nodi e dove lui ha meno fastidio. Il lato con i denti più fitti è indicato per per lunghezze ridotte, altrimenti rimane incagliato. Praticamente sbroglia i nodi tagliando, perciò se si esagera si sfoltisce di molto e si creano zone rasate. Facili da utilizzare sono molto utili per la toeletta del cane. In particolare il pettine. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, circa 12€ ad Aprile 2018. P.S. Spero di essere stato di aiuto.

We have a cocker spaniel, and have bought pretty much every brush we could find (with no success) in an effort to keep her coat mat-free. Despite the fact that they’ve all been marketed as good for undercoats/thick coats, not a single one has been — they make the top layer look great, but do little for tangles and absolutely nothing for the undercoat. This one gets all the way through! Since we got this, I've brushed SO much fur out that we could make another dog with the pile. We also have a lab and two short-hair cats who love getting brushed with this, even though they don’t need it nearly as much as the spaniel. TL;DR - you NEED this if your dog has a thick/double coat. Won’t really do much if they have short fur.
