Hi, it fits about 7 kg of pickles. It's small, useful for pickles, not cabbage. I was satisfied with the quality and capacity.

Its flexible and the lid is not a firm seal. it would be suitable for containing things that you don't want rain or insects to get into i.e dry dog food ect. If you want to pickle use a watertight Barrel that is UN Approved.
