This ball has taken 4 years worth of 'abuse' before inevitably breaking - highly recommend, and I hope the next one lasts us just as long!

Our Labrador/collie cross pup has a strong herding instinct, and would play Frisbee all day long if only she had a willing human to throw it for her. Unfortunately her humans have other duties to perform so this "boredom busting" ball was purchased specifically for her and her herding instinct. Made from hard plastic it's solid - and I do mean Solid - it has no bounce at all, on any surface. It's also quite heavy, so throwing it is not an option., and it's not really designed for throwing anyway. We've tried to get doggo interested in it by rolling it, and showing her how she should push it but apart from a promising few minutes in which she chased it, growling and yelping, it has sat in the middle of the field, abandoned and completely ignored. It's obviously very durable as it's impervious to her set of extremely strong, sharp teeth, but that's actually why she's not interested as she likes to carry her toy - the Frisbee is almost a permanent feature - she likes one of her humans to actively participate in her play. So whilst this ball is robust and well made, it's of no interest at all to our girl hence the neutral rating.

Bought this ball for my one year old border collie at the time. This is her all time favourite ball. She’s now 5 and has been playing with it for 4 years. At first she wasn’t sure of it because she couldn’t pick it up, but over time, she’s learned to get a lot of power behind it, to the point she can push it high into the air. She has a lot of fun herding this ball and even knows where it is when we hide it away, since it can be loud rolling around on the patio. Not sure if the manufacturing of this ball has changed since I bought it. As our version doesn’t have indents of dogs printed into it. Although it’s so scratched up now you can’t tell. It’s been sturdy and durable for the last 4 years.

Attention je recommande ce jouet pour chien mais sous surveillance IMPÉRATIVEMENT, le chien devient fou car il n'arrive pas à l'avoir en gueule et irait à ce blesser pour le tenter. Balle dure, ne la tapez pas pied nus. Mis à part ces éléments le jouet est ultra robuste, occupe le chien ! il peut jouer au foot avec vous !

Our Aussie loves and adores this ball! We have purchased so many herding balls, and they have never lasted more than 24 hours - even with supervision. This ball appears to be indestructible! He gleefully chases it around and around the yard. Perfection!
