Perfectly dry plaster after showering
I have a half leg in plaster. Wonderful product, easy to use, seals the leg well. Really robust material. I’m happy showering with this protection. It was recommended by the hospital.

Keeps you completely dry
Well made 'sleeve' with excellent seal to top edge that enabled me to bath / shower whilst keeping the dressing on my calf completely dry. Very happy with purchase. Note that the 'sleeve' is size dependant height/weight when ordering. More than happy to recommend this UK made product.

Great shower protection
Excellent product - wish we'd known about it sooner. My husband can at last take a shower without worrying about his leg dressing getting wet. Easy to put on and take off, and dries quickly.

Yes, you can take a nice, hot shower.
I had revision surgery on my knee, and one of the other guys in the ward suggested I get a LimbO. Great advice! Fits well, is easy to put on and off, and keeps your wound and dressing dry. It seems well made and durable. My one worry was that it might be slippery in the shower—but it’s not at all. It’s great taking a shower in the morning without worrying about a soggy dressing and wound.

recommended by the plaster room at Kings College Hospital and exactly what we needed
My teenage daughter was involved in a serious road accident just before xmas. Her injuries include a severely broken lower right leg which pinned and plated. Due to other injuries (ankle and pelvis) she cannot bear weight on her right leg (despite the pin) for at least 6 weeks. This restricts her mobility enough to make showers awkward. We were initially advised to use try bin bags and tape to keep the cast dry. This had limited success, even if the tape does not peel away there was always some leakage, it is a fiddly process and has to be applied carefully, we would have to do that before she moved to the shower room.Bin bags and tape are cheaper but time-consuming, fiddly, prone to tearing, wasteful and ultimately far more likely to leak.On an outpatient visit we asked in the plaster room what the secret was to keeping the casts dry, and the nurse said "oh go with Limbo, they're not that expensive and if you use them right you'll have no problems." She was spot on.The limbo half-leg cover pulls on easily enough that my daughter can move to the stool in the shower and pull it on there, she can fit it on her own and trust that the seal won't let her down with a few simple checks. Just that little bit of independence is a big deal to a 16-year old that doesn't really want her parents fussing around.Limbo is relatively cheap (we paid slightly more via amazon than via direct, but it gave me prime next day delivery which was worthwhile), it is well made, unlikely to tear if treated properly. The seal is very similar to the seal of my diving drysuit, used well, no water will be getting in. It is reusable, simply peg it up someplace dry. Fantastic product.

Limbo Works Well
Very easy to use both putting on and taking off, though it is helpful to have a second person assisting if lower limb mobility is an issue because of the injury requiring Limbo protection. After several showers using Limbo, it has kept the areas needing protection bone dry (sic!) Construction is robust and durability looks to be good.

These really do what they say!
These are fantastic! This is the second Limbo I have used. The first was for my arm. These really are waterproof and are reasonably easy to get on over a backslab with bulky dressings, as well as plaster casts. They are very reasonably priced and I would not hesitate to recommend them.
