Excellent Acer
Great viewing quality, for a sub-Pro price. Attractive nearly frameless design: looks good and seems very well made. Integrated speaker are a bonus, but don't expect room-filling sound. Had this for 3 weeks and I am very happy. Previously I had bought another make and had to send it back because of dead pixels. Only minor criticism is the stand. It holds the monitor well, but is not height adjustable and the monitor sits quite low. Now I have a monitor riser and its much better.

Good value monitor
Image quality is quite good. It passes successfully most visual tests. The worst I have noticed was the contrast of red and blue colours - as one can see on attached picture. It has many settings, but does not come with instructions on how to use them. As many menu items are abbreviations, it is difficult to take full advantage of monitor's technical sophistication. Loudspeakers are quite nice. I would appreciate if it had a VESA mount.

Blown away
Absolutely stoked about this item. Remarkably sharp picture quality, great customisation and a slim, sleek look all round. Has good connectivity (1 x HDMI, 1 x DisplayPort, 1 x DVI) and it even has some speakers built in (not great quality, they have terrible bass, but a good fallback). My only criticism is a sight bit of false advertising. The images displayed on this item's selling page show the screen going from literally edge to edge, but this is not the case. The image is cut off by a black, 1cm border around the left, right and top edges of the screen. This is not what I expected and I thought there was a problem with my display settings, but nope, this is intended. Felt slightly cheated as I did want the image to be touching the edges, but I've actually warmed to the black bezel a fair bit.

Great picture but fails to wake from sleep without a power off reset very disappointed
I have used the monitor mainly as a CCTV screen. Always on until recently. I have been turning the screen off at night to save electric. The problem is it just doesn't wake up. The on off button does nothing, it's nothing to do with the computer as I have tried it with multiple computers. It does not want to come out of some kind of deep sleep it goes into. The one and only way to get it back is disconnect the power at the mains for 10 seconds every time. Very very annoying for such an otherwise perfect monitor. I have used and tested it in DP and HDMI only. Sadly will not be buying Acer again as it seems it's a problem among many Acer Monitors.

Prepare for the future...
This is a superb monitor, and it’s definitely a great companion for the latest MacBook Pro with its USB-C connectivity, which provides display from the Mac to the monitor, and power back from the monitor to the Mac. The only thing I didn’t like was the price, it is a bit on the expensive side. However, it is stylish in the gold/silver colour and unlike the newer version, does have USB-C. But the USB-C isn’t that powerful and generally on standby, the LED flashes which can get quite annoying in a dark room. However the 2K QHD resolution is brilliant, as a graphic designer it’s great to fit even more on the screen, especially in After Effects and Photoshop. The monitor is a great display.

Mostly good, but one repair required already
The display is excellent, and it charges my USB-C MacBook. The USB hub, an important part of why I bought this particular monitor, initially worked perfectly but failed after about four months of use. The monitor has been back to Acer who replaced the main board and that seems to have fixed the problem. My husband'a Apple Cinema display continues to be faultless after six years of continuous use - I wish this monitor had that build quality.

Superb monitor if you got a Mac or any PC really.
Acer H277HUsmipuz 27-Inch Wide Widescreen LCD Monitor (ZeroFrame IPS LED Montior with 4ms, HDMI2.0, DP, USB3.1 Type C, USB3.0 Hub(1Up2Down) Let me just start and say this is a great monitor and way above the current rating of 3.5 stars. The only thing it would make it a great monitor for its price would be a VESA mount which is currently missing. I use it with a 2015 Macbook pro and it is perfect as an external monitor paired with a keyboard and touchpad/mouse. I've also paid just over £200 when it came out on here and there was nothing in that class to match the features and capability of this Acer. I must add that I do not understand the design of the back of a monitor at all. Nobody spends more than then a few seconds looking at the back of a monitor when plugging in a cable so why drop a vesa mount for a desing feature Acer?

Not zero frame, ghosting, thin blue lines and screen blanking
No zero frame, has about a 1 cm around the screen as a border frame and about an inch at the bottom. Tried with both hdmi and display port cable connection to check if either made any difference as there was a suggestion that it might require a specific connection to achieve zero frame - but neither made any difference. Recently started getting thin blue lines across the screen when parts of the screen are showing dark areas. Screens blanks to black for 1 second every now and then as well. This is happening more regularly now when full screen watching YouTube videos for example. Verified it is the monitor as I have a 2nd monitor to test and verify if it was the graphics card or drivers or some other issue - no definitely the monitor panel that is showing the blue thin lines and/or blanking the screen. And with this issue occurring more regularly now it would appear I will need to start shopping for a new monitor. For gaming even with the overdrive set to extreme or normal there is still ghosting when playing first person shooters (csgo for example) - other less intense games its not as noticeable. There is also ghosting/blurring when scrolling and reading text (web browsing) which is noticeable.
