Contigo Cortland Chill 2.0 24oz. Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle with AUTOSEAL Lid Lavender

Purchased my first Contigo Cortland bottles over ten years ago and was surprised you could still purchase them. Really like the newer version with the greater capacity and lockable push button.

The small lid is very loose and will cause water leakage so I had to have it returned as defective.

I used the Monoco style Contigo 24oz water bottle in the past and have chosen to replace it with this Cortland Chill 24oz one. My old ones sadly started leaking after less than a month of use and the handle fell off after only three months. I have now used this Cortland Chill style for over a year and can say it has held up well. It is much better quality and everything that my old ones weren't. Easy to clean and care for with a latch to open the insides of the lid for deep cleaning. The handle has metal screws, not plastic like my old ones did. Best of all? It NEVER leaks, not even a drop. Not even when shaken about vigorously or held upside-down. For added protection, there is a lock to lock the button and prevent it from being pressed accidentally. The added Chill feature keeps cold drinks cold for many hours, even when in direct sunlight on the hottest of days. Hot drinks also stay hot for hours. However, remember to press the button well away from the face to prevent burns from the escaping hot steam before taking a sip! (This I learned the hard way.) I am confident these bottles will last many years longer than the few months my old ones did. UPDATE: I recently received 2 replacement bottles in place of my old Monoco ones that leaked. Completely free of charge. It did not cost me anything to get replacements, not even for shipping. The Contigo Consumer Care representative was great. All that was needed was a short video showing they leaked and a copy of my Amazon receipt. In less than two weeks, I had my replacements. The Contigo company was easy to deal with and honored the lifetime warranty on my Contigo cups with no problems. Even better, I was provided with two new Contigo water bottles in the latest Cortland Chill style, with my choice of colors. I got tactical adjustable water bottle covers for all my bottles. I wanted a way to easily hold my water bottle, and these tactical covers do just that. There is two loops on either side that I can slide my fingers through, enabling me to easily pick up my water bottle. I did not like the original nylon straps on the cover which I found to slide open and not hold securely. I replaced those with the Nearocle large silicone ties, I purchased on Amazon. The D-rings on the tactile cover also provides a way I can mount a paracord handles onto the bottle, since the original plastic ring only works for select water bottles, the Contigo one not being one of those. I cut the plastic ring off the paracord handle and slid the remaining paracord loop over the top of the Contigo bottle. Then used the smaller Nearocle silicone ties, (also purchased on Amazon) to anchor the paracord loop onto the D-rings on the tactical cover. I also purchased a silicone bottom for water bottles to prevent it from sliding on counters and tables.
