This is a very nice keypad with 4 profiles. It takes very little effort to press the keys. I like the pre-printed and blank labels it comes with, and the clear key covers. The paper instructions are very sparse, only 2 short pages, but there is a link in it to the software and a 36-page pdf. It’s in a .rar file so you’ll need to decompress that. In order to change anything, you have to start the software, power down the keypad, hold the upper left button down, then back power up, then after two seconds, the software shows the default profile, and then you can let go of the button. This was very tedious to program and test different configurations and macros, so I bought a USB hub with toggle switches, which made things MUCH easier. The pdf manual tries to be complete and informative, but it takes a while to get used to their jargon and non-intuitive way of using the software. (For example, “Press” means key down, while “KeyDown” means something that could include a mouse button down, but the software doesn’t have any mouse clicks available for KeyDown.) The software font is bothersome, reminiscent of Windows 3.1. The software is a bit clunky, but at least it works after you figure it out (example, why let the user be able to select anything in the command list window when editing macros, when you can’t change anything via that list at all ? I kept wanting to change the command directly in the command list). I have a Logitech G13 programmable gamepad and that software is a breeze to use.Pros : great hardware, everything worksCons : software usability could be improved; no “live update”.

Can only set up 8 macros which wasn’t enough. Returned and debated on the x code but ended up with the stream deck XL. Buy the stream deck.I’m giving it a two star because customer support was responding every night. They ended up telling me to go for their new one… that isn’t out yet.I was wanting to build a STEM keyboard. Math keyboard with programmed alt codes. Streamdeck! Not this!The other thing about this is the set up is like programming… shouldn’t be this hard. Spent 6+ hours trying to get it setup and still didn’t get it completed. 10 minutes on the streamdeck. Do it buy the XL!

This macropad is not only garbage but dangerous; it sometime sends incorrect signals that have nothing to do which what you have programmed. I painstakingly programmed a few hotkeys and used it with the DAS trader software. I’m a day trader and wanted a reliable macropad to program hotkeys. One day to my horror I saw an endless stream of trade orders appear on my brokerage blotter. The first few were filled but not the remainder because I ran out of buying power. At the time I was not touching this pad. I disconnected it. I was lucky I noticed the orders and reversed them to a rather small loss. After speaking with the customer service from DAS I realized it was this garbage macropad that had fired off those orders. To be accurate, each of the orders were indeed a hotkey that I had programmed into this pad but they should not have been fired, as I was not touching the macropad when they were fired off.Stay away from this junk.

Desde hace tiempo estuve buscando un teclado programable para editar y por fin lo encontré. Me gusta que tiene 48 teclas a las que puedo asignarles casi cualquier comando de Windows o Mac y lo más nice es que puedo personalizar cada tecla con un icono para identificarlas. Definitivamente recomiendo este teclado.

I wish there is a step by step video on how to program it
