Parker S0908680 IM Premium Fountain Pen, Medium Nib - Chiselled Deep Gunmetal with Chrome Trim

Beautiful pen, has a nice weight to it. It writes very SMOOOTHLY, which is probably its best facet. The most expensive pen I've owned, bought it because previous Parker pens weren't delivering. Writes beautifully. Pretty expensive though, so you have to be careful with it. The lid can be a bit loose too, it falls of the top of the pen quite often so be careful there. Yet, generally a nice pen.

I really like this one. It is a very affordable pen and the overall quality turns out to be very good. The full body is made of metal and it has a very nice finish. It is not very heavy in your hand and writes surprisingly smooth. I have always used the old good Parker Vector, and the diffence is huge. Of course, you still have plastic components here and there, but I strongly recommend it. It is a great fountain pen for everyday use :).

I have been looking for a decent fountain pen for ages and saw this one on offer so I couldn't resist it. It has the quality, feel and balance that you would expect from Parker plus some! I bought the piston fill with it as I am old fashioned and find cartridges too "fiddley". The combination works really well and make writing a pleasure. I cannot recommend them highly enough. The packaging and delivery were 100% too. This is one very satisfied customer.

Had resevrations about buying naother parker pen after a new one last year disintegrated after a year of easy use. This pen has worked well and good bargain for the price. Have used the converters and will do so as much easier and convenient.

This is a lovely pen. Well balanced and great feel. The ridged barrel makes it easy to grip, no slipping. Writes beautifully. I like the Matt finish, very subtle and looks like an expensive pen.

Build quality seems solid and the chiselled metal looks great but this refuses to write properly even with official Parker black cartridges. Two other Parkers for half the prices work perfectly. Could be a lemon or damaged nib I suppose but for now it's a desk ornament instead of a functional pen. For the large majority of potential buyers that shouldn't really be an issue I guess. Just make sure yours writes fluently before showing it off.

Quality pen, just don't ever drop them...

This is my second Parker IM Premium; the first provided three year of superb daily service but a heavy drop on the floor broke the cap fixing mechanism to the pen, and also the external lacquer covering the case showed signs of wear but at this price I think that it provided superb service. The new pen looks superb, very professional in its deep gun metal chiselled case and I have recieved many complimentary remarks about it. Throughly recommended.

Premesso che non sono un appassionato di penne stilografiche, recentemente mi è venuto lo sfizio di comprarmene addirittura due ed entrambe su Amazon. La prima è una Diplomat Traveller che uso da circa una settimana e con la quale mi trovo molto bene (ho scritto relativa recensione). Questa invece è proprio "la mia penna stilografica" definitiva. E' ben bilanciata, scrive bene, è molto elegante e non passa decisamente inosservata durante il suo utilizzo nelle riunioni. Ha la pesantezza giusta per me e la scrittura è molto fluida (anche i disegni!). Consiglio decisamente acquisto perché è un prodotto di qualità. Aggiornamento al 9/4/2014: La uso quotidianamente in ambito lavorativo e confermo quanto scritto precedentemente. Ho comprato anche il convertitore e la utilizzo con inchiostro Rohrer & Klingner *dal 1892* - Bordeaux antico - 50ml e gli scritti sono decisamente di qualità (nulla a che vedere con ricarica originale blu standard che non vedevo l'ora che finisse per sostituirla). Finora non ho registrato impuntature o ritardi nella fuoriuscita dell'inchiostro come segnalato da altro utente. Sempre pronta, fluida, scorrevole... bella. Più la utilizzo più mi convinco di aver fatto un ottimo acquisto. Aggiornamento al 22/4/2014: Sono veramente pochi giorni che mi è preso il trip delle stilografiche, tuttavia devo ammettere che, rispetto alle penne a sfera tradizionali, non vi è paragone. Inoltre grazie ad un amico appassionato di questi strumenti (si strumenti), adesso sono felice possessore anche di una Waterman con pennino in oro che ha immediatamente sostituito la Parker nelle mie preferenze. Tutti e tre i modelli in mio possesso (Diplomat, Parker, Waterman) mi regalano enormi soddisfazioni ed ho riscoperto il piacere di scrivere di mio pugno anziché digitare sui tasti di un computer (la mia costante da 30 anni essendo un informatico che, nei suoi primi 10 anni lavorativi, utilizzava una Pilot per minutare i programmi). Utilizzare una stilografica è PIACERE PURO a prescindere dalla stilografica che si utilizza anche se questa Parker dovrà pur avere un pennino F in luogo del M di serie e allora... Aggiornamento al 5/10/2014: Sono ormai alcuni mesi che la utilizzo in abbinata con altre stilografiche. Il pennino M la penalizza non poco causa consumo eccessivo di inchiostro. Rispetto alle altre con pennino F in media devo ricaricarla il doppio delle volte. Mi sono recato in un negozio "retrò" di professionisti (vende solo penne stilografiche, inchiostri e carta per stilografiche) e...magia. Cambiato il pennino da M a F et voilà. E' molto più scorrevole, con un tratto meno marcato che consente alla penna di scorrere molto, ma molto meglio rispetto a prima. Questa soluzione ha fatto fare a questa penna un deciso salto di qualità e di gradimento nella mia personale scala di preferenza. Sotto il profilo estetico non passa inosservata durante le riunioni per cui... occhio alla penna!!!

La compramos con la intención de regalarla en una graduación, al festejado le encantó, no se diga a nosotros. el material es bueno y la pluma definitivamente luce. A la hora de escribir deja una magnifica linea. Muy recomendada como un regalo especial o si uno quiere escribir de forma artistica

Tiene buen peso y balance, es un bonito color gris oscuro. Se encuentran los repuestos facilmente. Ya es mi tercer pluma fuente.

.......buon prezzo. Finitura molto bella e curata (vedremo la durata). Flusso lievemente abbondante e peso sopra la media, ma d'altra parte è tutta in metallo. L'ho corredata del converter Parker per poterla utilizzare con l'inchiostro che più mi piace e risparmiare sulle cartucce. Acquisto senz'altro consigliato. Update. Comprato su Amazon UK pennino fine impossibile da trovare in negozio fisico in Italia. Ora ha un flusso ed un tratto perfetti per me. Davvero non capisco perchè imporre all'acquisto solo il pennino M non dando la scelta eventualmente di sostituirlo con altro se non soddisfatti. Anche Amazon UK merita 5 stelle per la velocità ed il servizio.

Great pen, nice weight and feel when writing. The nib took a while to get used to my hand and the ink dries out very fast with parker cartridges (I think the safety vent in the cap just allows it to dry). I have just recently bought a converter so hopefully that will alleviate any issues.
