Isehan Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara Waterproof Black

I recently rated another mascara as being best for East Asian lashes but actually I think this trumps it because it gives a much more natural and voluminous finish with no clumping. Also, unlike the other one I reviewed, it doesn't leave your lashes really hard after application, so much so that you can feel them when you blink. It's very waterproof and smudge proof, I went out for a run with this on and no black eyes and held the curl. It is hard to remove but just use an oil based remover. I use argan oil and works fine.

Bought this on a whim and I'm a convert! This is an amazing mascara - it doesn't budge or run and holds curl for a whole day of work. Truly waterproof so I use coconut oil before the regular cleanser.

This is a very good mascara, but the quality can vary depending on the batch. Sometimes it goes on smoothly with great application, while other times it feels clumpy, dry, and less consistent.

Fab product. Hard to get iff as its really waterproof but you can buy remover if you so wish

I’ve been using this mascara for years, according to Amazon I’ve bought it 14 times so I thought it was finally time to write a review! Needless to say, it’s a brilliant mascara. I love that it gives a very natural look that you can build up, it never clumps, smudges, or flakes. The formula isn’t too wet so you don’t have to wait for it to dry down and it literally doesn’t budge, holds a curl perfectly. I only wish I could find the brown one. I recently bought an expensive brand in their brown formula and it just wasn’t half as good as this one. I live in fear of it being discontinued!

I have bought this mascara multiple times. It’s the only mascara I’ve ever used that doesn’t smudge. I repurchased it last week and it arrived in its usual intact packaging and… it’s utterly useless. Completely dried out tube, a few clotted lumps at the bottom. Unusable. I’m gutted as I can’t return it since it’s been opened. Then I noticed that almost one third (!!!) of reviewers for this item have had the exact same issue so buyer beware- this stock is clearly past its sell by date. It’s a shame Amazon don’t pull it until the seller rectifies or addresses the issue. A very expensive mistake that I won’t be making again.

This is a perfectly decent mascara, however as someone with the most stubborn lashes ever that do not curl with eyelash curlers (heated or otherwise, I've tried both) and who needs a lash lift for them to curl at all, this mascara did nothing. It probably does help those with less stubborn lashes but if you really struggle, don't bother - I was told this was the gold standard for straight/downturned lashes and it is not, it's just harder to get off as it's waterproof!!

Best. Mascara. Ever. Creates more drama and stays smudge-free longer than YSL Faux Cils and Diorshow mascaras, for less money! I've got the oiliest eye area in the world, so everything smudges on me after an hour or so, especially on a hot summer's day. This mascara stayed put, with no smudging, for over 9 hours, with a tiny hint of a smudge under just one eye, afterwards. I got amazing length and lots of buildable volume on my sparse lashes. After trying every single cult mascara on the market (yes, even Benefit's They're Real, which is fab but smudges and doesn't hold a curl on my fine lashes), I've found The One and I won't be trying anything else. One important thing to note: this mascara has serious staying power, so use an oil cleanser to remove it. You'll need plenty of oil cleanser and patience. Apply the oil cleanser generously and thoroughly (I used an old mascara wand to comb the oil through my lashes as well), then leave for a minute or so, before gently wiping off with wet cotton pads and cotton buds.

Use it with Shu Emura curler . It looks natural but very good at keeping lashes staying curled up and long
