I used this as soon as it arrived with the Roland tm1, also worth checking out.The triggers are so easy and discrete, better than using a mic which gets in the way.So handy and trigger is the way to go. Get the sound you want without compromising.I think looking after them is the key.

Works a treat
Very good transducer - used it for a homemade Splash cymbal on my electronic drum kit.2 CD's taped together with this piezo trigger wedged in between them! Rather Health Robinson, but it works well. This trigger looks well made and has good sensitivity. I use it as a trigger only, so I can't comment on its acoustic properties, frequency response etc. But as a trigger - highly recommended.

Worked fine until it broke.
I tried it on my snare but when I attached it to the edge of my bass drum head, it broke after about ten minutes. It is too flimsy for use on an acoustic kit.

Didn't work
Didn't manage to get it working at all. I have an electronic drum set that uses several triggers from different brands and never had a problem like this.

Very good item
Absolutely brilliant, it responds perfect with my yamaha drum kit, deep and great sound, even the double strokes, the sensitivity is so accourate, I highly recommend the item.
