GoProSuction Cup Mount, Black

I bought this because I found the GoPro Magnetic Clip did not have strong enough adhesion for my use case.As can be seen from the first photo there are a large number of parts which can be configured in a number of ways.The Suction Cup is very well made with a large suction area. It can easily support the weight of the GoPro with the Media Mod and Light Mod attached.ImportantThe Suction Cup will only adhere to a flat surface. Some surfaces that appear flat are not. For example I attached the Suction cup to the side of an IKEA wooden bookcase and it fell off after less than ten minutes. In contrast it stuck to a painted wooden door for several hours without falling off. It is important to try out the surface by attaching the Suction Cup and leaving it for a while (I would suggest at least as long as you intend to use it with your GoPro) before attaching the GoProI think it is a little pricey, but it does its job well

Works really well. I used it when I went to the French Alps for 3 weeks in the summer. I used it inside and outside the vehicle on the windscreen and on a flat part of the bodywork. The suction power is really strong, no worry of it falling off. Though just in case I did have a lanyard on it which I was able to trap in the door and connect to the GoPro for peace of mind.It comes with loads of different attachments so you can get almost any angle you could want. It's very sturdy and there is little/no vibration interference on the footage.Before I went, I had it stuck onto my bedroom window for 2 weeks and it never fell off.Definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to get some good footage whilst driving.

SHopped around to find a good suction mount for my go pro and thought I'd give the official GoPro product a try. It hasn't disappointed. I used it on a trip to the Italian Alps and after being attached to the car for 3 hours or so it was still holding perfectly solid in position on the back wing. I was a bit concerned about it coming off so tethered the camera itself via a line into the car through the back window but there was absolutely no need. Once attached to the suction mount there was no moving it. Very pleased.

What can I say. I’ve used it, it works, it holds on tightly, it’s easy to use (if you follow the few correct steps), and it feels durable. Even if it costs quite a bit more than other cheaper suction mounts, it’s worth the money for peace of mind and is long lasting.

Purchased to mount a Go-Pro to a windscreen on a track car. I’ve now done 3 track days with it and not had a single issue. It’s simple to use and includes a good selection of adaptors to get your desired angle. I’ve also mounted it outside a vehicle with a Insta 360 attached, no movement over a 20 mile drive at motorway speeds. You do need to make sure the area is clean and flat and it’s wise to use a tether if mounting externally.

This is by far the best and only suction mount you should use for your gopro if you use it on the outside of your car. It will NEVER fall off if you attach it correctly. I used this on my car for a whole week when I went on holiday to devon this year. Didn't come off once and never had any problems with it.
