As a shift worker with a young family i have got used to feeling constantly tired out. Changing sleep patterns combined with a little one who wakes up several times a night meant that i had got to a place where i couldn't sleep even though i was shattered, and sleep had become a problem area in my life- basically shift worker sleep syndrome and insomnia. Introducing 'sleep hygeine' techniques and elimimating caffeine (i was a massive coffee drinker) helped somewhat but i still wasn't feeling refreshed after bed. I tried nytol both the blue and green type but they left me feeling groggy for at least a day after which defeated the object. I'd read about melatonin which isn't available in the uk, but these tablets are the nearest thing as they naturally contain melatonin so i decided to try some. After three nights using them i can describe them as a success for helping with my sleep. I take two and hour before I expect to sleep with a glass of water. The effect is to feel more relaxed and sleepy and it was more of a gentle effect than the nytol, i am waking up feeling generally refreshed and not cowed by facing another day with not enough sleep. Last night our toddler woke us up a few times, normally interrupted sleep destroys me the day after but it feels like the sleep i got was of a higher quality so i still feel okay. For parents of young children these don't knock you out, i've still been able to wake to look after the little one so that doesn't seem an issue. These pills get a hearty thumbs up from me for anyone suffering issues with their sleep.

I bought this a few months ago to help with sleep but didn’t feel like it helped at the time, plus I was trying out other sleeping aides. I don’t think I tried it for long enough. It’s now been a week since taking 2 tablets a night before bed and it has actually helped me stay asleep, or if I do wake up in the middle of the night I can get back to sleep easier than before! I have tried loads of things including, nytol, chamomile teas, even allergy pills when that desperate after days of not sleeping! I’ve only experienced sleepless nights in the last couple of years, previously being someone who could sleep for 10 hours if left to it, but life circs and perimenopause had other plans for me, so I’m so glad I’ve finally found something that works! Long may it continue!!! Now just waiting to see if it helps with my achy shoulder, here’s hoping!

seems to be manufactured at a high standard, packaging came sealed, and product seems consistent. as far as noticeable effects after taking 2 a day for 45 days. Nothing really. maybe they boosted my immune system maybe not. I wont be buying these again purely because i have found alternatives that are cheaper and of the same quality. but if you are down with the cherry then give em a go boys

Amazing for joint flair ups

I have been taking these for over a year & can wholeheartedly recommend them for improved sleep. Before I started taking them, I used get up to use the toilet up to five times in the night. Since taking them, that has reduced to one time - for me they are a game-changer as far as sleeping is concerned.

I use this product to help with dietary control of gout. I have been using Montmorency Cherry Juice extract capsules for a number of years now; they have not prevented recurring attacks but have - mostly - reduced their intensity, duration and frequency. I tend to be driven mainly by price as there as so many comparable products on the market, but I think this particular one has maintained a reasonably low price for a number of years and offers good value for money when you consider each pack contains 90 rather than 60 capsules. I noticed that pain relief is one of the criteria I was asked to assess but I have not considered using Montmorency cherry juice extract for this purpose.
