Health PlusBetaine Hcl + Pepsin Digestive Health Supplement - 180 Tablets

I bought these to supplement a higher dose caplet which was sometimes too large a dose. I much prefer these as being a lower dose I can sometimes, depending on protein intake, manage with one tablet. I always take with plenty of water so they only dissolve in the stomach and in that respect I think they work far more quickly than the caplets. I am of an age where stomach acid production is much declined so I take these as and when. Sometimes my stomach gets acidic some hours after eating so I take one of these with water and within minutes the acid stops. I keep some by the bed in the unlikely event nowadays that acid reflux wakens me and again the effect is almost instant. Since I've been using these, about a month, I feel more active, able to sleep better and am delighted with the effect.

The product did arrive it was collected, but I think the person at the shop made an error. The product is good and reasonably priced.

I find this type better for a high meat diet

Effective but hard to swallow. I suggest throwing on top of your yougurt so it goes down smooth. I've had much less acid reflux after eating since I started on these. Will buy again. They do don't taste great but it's a moot point because you shouldn't chew them, as they can damage tooth enamel. The tablets contain the ingredients to make the acid, so don't worry they won't burn a hole in your sphincter!

I did a hair based intolerance test that I also bought from amazon. I did the test for fun but it showed that I was imbalanced in a few things. Pepsin was one of them. When I looked into it, a lot of the symptoms of imbalanced/low pepsin was what was making my life miserable. Constant indigestion, chronic fatigue, seemingly constant protein deficiency. I bought these to test, and my god. My life is brighter now. I can lay on my right side. I can eat anything I want. The tablets are a bit powdery and MASSIVE so only 4 stars
