Honda Izy HRG 466 SK 4-Wheel Self Propelled Petrol Lawn Mower

Great piece of equipment. Easy to get out of the box and get running. Pulls well, cuts great. So easy to start and good on fuel. Can't fault this Honda. Would recommend for anyone with a good sized area to cut

I didn't like this or get on with it for the following reasons which affect most petrol mowers, it is:Heavy which is a pain when manoeuvring at the top and bottom of the lawn and in tighter spacesLong which is again an issue with the aboveComplex - fuel, oil, filter to keep checkingExpensive at about £400 compared to other types of mowerSlow - it doesn't go very quickly and so I am stuck at a slow walking space with a big lawnOur old Bosch is the opposite of this and does the same job, only lacking the bigger grass box and having a slight challenge with a cable. Plus to go faster I just push it faster. The Izy has one speed, slow!People love these and maybe I had a bad one but I felt a petrol lawnmower was just heavily over rated and electric mowers are much less heavy and cumbersome and the only drawback is the cable but that's not a major one at all. I'm sending mine back and will probably look to get a robomower of some type.Just to add, mine had a lot of oil in the air filter when delivered and this supplier said, twice, that they'd send a new one but never did so I bought one myself. The mower lasted about 5 mins before stalling and after 2 attempts over a few days I gave up with it. Never again...

All very good cuts just fine the most tricky bit was putting the grass box together oh and don’t forget to connect the spark plug!!!!

Product was damaged on delivery but the sellers were responsive to identified the problem and sent a replacement part.The mower is great. My lawn has an incline and the self-propelling function makes it easy to mow my lawn, without going too fast. It almost always starts the first time. The mulching function works well and I don't have to worry about clippings. The mower effectively does the composting for me.

Easy to put together, works great, love the self propelled feature, makes hills a cinch. User friendly.

Our last Honda Izy lasted a good 12 years so we bought the same again, and the new model looks just the same but has an automatic choke. It doesn't cut quite as low as we would like but in all other respects very happy with it.
