Well worth the money
Now i can say these are what you call thick socks and a lot better than the one's i did waist my money on. these are exactly what i was needing due to begin disabled i suffer with really cold feet i have just got these and have put a pair on and they are really good and comfortable the only thing i think is the company should make some in a smaller size but keep the thickness i think between a 3/9 and would give the smaller feet a bit of warmth and comfort other than that i highly recommend these I'm disabled so i bought them for having them on around the house and my shoes are no longer loose so if you are looking for a good pair of thick socks buy these you will not be disappointed compared others that i bought on here and it was a waist of time and money so don't look any further get these hope this helps you decide

Comfortable up and down Scafell Pike
After previously using Karrimor walking socks I found them slipping down regularly and giving me blisters between my toes. After planning a trip up Englands highest mountain Scafell Pike (Lake District) I wanted to try some new socks, after reading the reviews on these I thought I would give them a go. They were a comfortable fit and not too tight, I packed a spare pair in case of water / sweat. Although after walking up there was no discomfort at all but the problem for me is normally going downhill, after reaching the bottom there was again no discomfort, when I returned home there was no blisters either. Easily 5 stars for the value and product. Next test Snowdon which I am confident they will be fine for also.

Best Walking Socks
Excellent quality and value! I've never felt impressed enough by a pair of walking socks to write a review but these really are wonderful. Thick socks with extra support just where it's needed. On a 3 hour hike I didn't notice them, so they did their job well. If you wear boots for walking or work you should get a pair of these. EDIT: Have since worn them on 15 hour full day hikes, long mountain hikes and up Snowdon - they performed perfectly. Hands down the best walking socks I've ever bought. SECOND EDIT: These are still performing well almost a year down the line. I go on at least one 15 mile walk per week and have tackled some of the UK's highest peaks in them. Still strongly recommended!

Comfy, warm, but not built to last.
Fibres started to fray after only 8 hours of use, on both socks (short 10 minutes walk and general wearing around house). I’d look elsewhere if you’re looking for socks that last.
