Discrete reliable heater for small tanks
These heaters are great for small aquariums. I have two 5.5g aquariums and these heaters work like a charm. Easy to adjust the temperature rather than playing a guessing game.

Control and Value
Works extremely well for what it is. I'm using for 5.5 gallon aquarium. Love that it has an automatic shut off/no heating feature if the temp goes one tick above the set temp. May end up buying again for another tank. I enjoy the heaters that you can control the setting on. The preset heaters that have no control option are all trash. Value is nice too.

Awesome service
I have had the heater since August (it’s now March) and the other day the blue light stopped working and the heater started going up in temp, I emailed Hygger and the immediately sent a new heater the service was amazing. Just to note I did have a backup heater which I have for both of my tanks. I have many Hygger products and love them and now I love them even more. you can’t beat good service :)

Well made and compact!
This small heater works really well, but just note the accuracy may be off on the control. I noticed the unit is about 2 degrees off, not a huge deal just keep it in mind (your accuracy may be different so don't go by my 2 degree difference). The heater seems to heat up at a decent rate. You won't get controls in other compact heaters similar in size so this unit is fantastic and convenient.I'll update my review if I find any issues with longevity.

Amazing 10w betta heater!
I needed a heater I could adjust for a 2 gallon betta tank. It’s been cycling for a couple weeks with guppies until the betta moves in. Last weekend the water got too warm because the weather was hot and the heater I was using doesn’t have a thermostat. This little Hygger 10 watt heater is perfect!1) the heater is small in size for the tiny tank.2) it is thermostatically controlled3) it is very easy to adjust with the external gizmo on the wire.In the photo the heater is near the bottom of the tank, near unseen behind a ceramic pagoda. This little heater has all the bells and whistles heaters for big tanks have!

Makes tank hotter than what you set it for:
I bought 2 of these with different watts. One for my 20 gallon tank and one for my 2.5 gallon tank. The suction attachments on both broke when I tried to attach them, luckily both came with 2 attachments. I guess they knew they made a cheap product. The biggest issue is that the temperature gage is inaccurate. It is over 5 degrees higher than the actual water temperature . Also, in the small tank it is making the tank 2-3 degrees higher than what I set it for. Don’t buy this product, especially not for a small tank.

Small and effective
Small and effective aquarium heater. It is nice to have a set temp that the tank won’t go below. I use a separate fan to cool as needed.

Outstanding Heater for a 5 Gallon Aquarium
It is a great small heater. Packaged nicely and came on time.I purchased a five gallon aquarium and after I set it up with conditioned water and plants, and light, I installed the heater and let it sit without power for 24 hours. I then plugged it in and set the thermometer to 78 degrees. The next day, I checked the temp on the heater and it read that it was 84. That was a too high for the Betta Fish I plan to add when the aquarium is set. I then took two reading with different thermometers and they were right at the the 79 degree temp required for the Betta. This is an excellent heater for a small fish tank. I recommend that the temperature be checked to insure that the correct temp is set where you might want it.
