Q: Do they look identical to the picture please? And are they definitely for 3 months plus? Kiddicloud have let me down with miselling.

I bought these for my son only a month ago and he was just 6 months at the time. I reduced the size of the headband and they fitted him well. They did look quite big on him (as if he was a DJ) but they did the job perfectly well and is identical to the picture.

Hi there! Thease can only block the noize, the sound. It does nothing to the presure, which is what causes that pain on the ears. To avoid that, breastfeed or give the baby a pacifier, so the sucking and swalling movement makes the ear adapt to the pressure. For older kids, you can try candies or chewing gum. It's important to remember that a stuffy nose makes this pressure adaption process harder and may end in ear pain, so try some saline solition to keep the nose clean and humid. (:

Optimally these should not be used on babies under 3 months because their skull bones are too soft. But they have been tested as effective from newborn. So it seems to be up to the caregiver to exercise judgement regarding fit and wear duration on very young babies versus them being subject to the noise in question.
