K&N Typhoon Kit compatible with Mazda Miata/MX-5 L4-1.8L 1999-2005 - Red (69-6000TR)

I am reviewing the typhoon, not the service. The price was competitive but there was quite a wait for it to arrive.The typhoon - almost silent whilst driving normally, but when you accelerate hard it sounds divine - just giving a throaty roar, which is fab. Will it make you go any faster? No; unlikely, despite claims onthe info. 4bhp at full revs doesn't translate to much during road use. It is a very nice toy that will put a smile on your face. It could improve your mog - but only if you don't make that lovely noise. So an expensive but delicious item. What every partner should by their beloved instead of socks at christmas.

Installed this on my Mk2 Mx5.Looks very shiny under the bonnet, gives better throttle response and a great sound at around 3500 rpm.Very good value on amazon as i have seen the same item for almost £100 more on other sites.Instructions were very simple and easy to follow.Thank you amazon!

Got this for my 2002/02 MK2.5 MX-5. Simple install, took about 25 mins, looks nice and makes a real audio difference from around 3000 rpm, not sure about any power gains, I was really just after a little more rumble/induction noise, job done.

Needs a Heatshield to be of any use..

A bit pricey but sounds FANTASTIC on my mx5 me 2.5
