Great Audiophile Value and Performance
I’m currently using the GearIT 12AWG Speaker Cable Wire with Gold-Plated Banana Tip Plugs (10 Feet) to connect my McIntosh MC501 mono block amplifiers to my Sonus Faber Stradivari speakers. For those unfamiliar, this is a high-end, premium audio setup. Previously, I used Wireworld speaker cables, but they were left behind when I moved, so I’m unable to make a direct comparison. As a passionate audiophile, I do believe that cables can influence sound quality, albeit with diminishing returns. Given that I only needed a short run, I opted for these 12-gauge cables, which can easily handle the 500-watt output of my mono amps, with peaks up to 1200 watts. The speakers sound excellent with these cables. While it’s possible that even more expensive options—such as silver cables—might offer slight improvements, these GearIT cables offer outstanding value, and their build quality is solid.

High Quality and Exceeded my Expectations
I’ll start by saying I by no means am an audiophile, but a friend of mine who is suggested I go from the bare wire cables to quality ones with banana clips.I chose these due to the high quality appearance and the white cables match the decor I am looking for. I am truly amazed at the amount of noticeable difference these make.I am using these with the Kanto Yumi connected to LG Oled via Optical cable and they blow any sound bar out of the water and I have not bought the Sub8 yet..WOWI would highly recommend these cables to anyone who are currently on bare speaker wire it’s such a huge upgrade at a minimal cost.

GearIT Speaker Cable
These GearIT speaker cables are very sturdy and well-built, with a braided jacket and cable "pants" to finish them off. A beautiful speaker cable, much better looking (and much cheaper) than my Audioquest and QED speaker cables. HOWEVER...I really don't know about these plugs. They are listed as BANANA plugs, but they aren't; and they're not BFA plugs either. They look like a new type, maybe a Chinese invention. They did NOT look as though they would make as solid an electrical connection as a conventional banana plug OR a BFA plug. I have BFAs on both my Audioquest and QED cables and personally prefer regular bananas. From other reviews here on Amazon, I wasn't about to take any chances on a plug breaking off in a socket. These cables will be used in a bedroom system and will be difficult to access. I don't have the time or the patience to disassemble equipment to push out a broken plug from the inside. Rather than take the chance, I immediately removed the questionable plugs and replaced them with Sewell Silverback Banana Plugs (available on Amazon) that I already had on hand. The Silverback Banana Plugs aren't perfect either, as they are not insulated (neither are the GearIT) and should be covered with heat shrink tubing (also available on Amazon), but I've used the Silverbacks for several years without any problems. The knurled body is interchangeable between the GearIT and the Sewell plugs, as are the set screws (in case you lose one. Or several.). I disassembled one end of one cable and slipped two scrap pieces of 1/2 inch red heat shrink onto the cable pants to mark each end of the right channel and reassembled the end. After rechecking polarity with a multimeter, a final check to be sure the set screws are as tight as I could get them, and the knurled body is as tight on the plugs as I could get them, I used 2 inch lengths of 3/8 inch red and black heat shrink tubing and a heat gun to finish them off. The pieces of heat shrink on the plugs insulate and make it easier to see hot and neutral in dim light. See photo.UPDATE: Still loving these cables, going from a Denon AVR-S570BT to a pair of ELAC Debut 2.0 B5.2 bookshelf speakers. This is prolly overkill for a bedroom system but it makes watching TV a bit more involving. I really do wish they sold them in pairs though.

Great value!
Cables and jacks are very substantial and well-made. In a tight electronic exterior (to components) environment, they appear to preserve channel isolation and clarity. Well worth the cost, unless you love fussing with heavy-gauge wire and uncooperative banana plugs.

Best speaker cables that I've ever used.
easily plugs directly into the speaker connectors & AV unit/receiver without any issues, solid connections won't fall out, well marked, would easily purchase again.
