The trimmer is hot to the touch of the skin, battery also drops down very fast. Razor burn as well does not cut both sides of the face equally.

Beginner here with self haircuts and I purchased this item on a discount. Battery life was great it took me a couple of hours to cut my own hair on my first few times, and it only took the battery to 60% from a full charge. Didn't use the trimmer as long as the clippers so I haven't even recharged it yet. Comes with a case and hair brush so that is great since other sets in its price range doesn't have those. 3 things why it didn't get a 5 star for me are as follows. Trimmer cannot be adjusted, can't zero gap 'em, definitely disappointed on that one. Guards made from cheap plastic and it has a feel that they won't last. And last thing is the clippers don't cut super clean, and this maybe because of the cheap guards. With a 3 or 4 guard I have to run the clipper on the top of my head multiple times over and over again and still has a few noticeable bumpy patches. Gonna tweak it and zero gap the clipper maybe that will help but we'll see in a couple of weeks. Solid affordable set for a beginner barber/self barber.

This product initially was great. The product worked well and was exactly as was described initially. After about 1 year, the batteries on both units in the kit stopped holding a charge. The indicators show 95-99% and the. Just stops after a few minutes. The units do work temporarily while plugged into the charger, but even that just stops. There is no way to replace or remove the batteries… so the whole kit basically is worthless. I bought this in 2022. This means that buying this item will last just about a year to three years. It’s cheaper than other major brands, but as they say … you get what you pay for. The company provides no support or warranty past 1 year. Buyer beware. Now I am looking for a replacement.
