This device is as advertised. Straight forward installation. Absolute plug & play. People can argue price. However, if you have a product that performs as described, it's priceless. Purchase this converter...IT WORKS!

Worked beautifully. Older tv and old vcr. Plugged it up and voila, perfect.

This works well. This is cheaply made, however, the picture quality is very good, the colors are very accurate, and it is very good value for money. The device is compatible with my brand new television as well as my fifteen year old Nintendo Wii. I would say that it has a weird screen if there is no device plugged in, which makes me think that something is not working. Also, the 1020 to 720 slider does not work, but the quality still works normally so there is no issue there.

I thought I would be the cool mom and order my son a DVD player from a well-known auction site. I had it sent directly to his dorm at college. Little did I know, it was old enough that it wasn't compatible (as is) with the new television I'd purchased from Amazon. So...he asked me to purchase this set of cords, and voila! He can now watch DVDs in his room. (When he's not busy with homework, of course). Easy fix.

It works just fine for my needs, a good value for the money. I'm not a huge fan of the design and that it needs to be plugged into a power source, but it works nonetheless.

It does exactly what it's supposed to do. I must have if you have a VCR and no available coax on the TV.

I have only used it once so this is just first impressions. I bought this so I could use my wii on my new tv. the quality of the video on the screen is low (but that was kind of expected). It did work perfectly though I have no other complaints.

Now I got the new tiny gadget to activate my old VCRs to my new TV. It took me awhile to figure it out about the TV stuff and the page showing the HDMI to click, but I got it. With tax from Amazon.ca it cost me $26.44. One thing, during a long VCH video, the TV shut down. Interesting! So I stopped the VCR then later on I turned on the TV choosing the HDMI, I then continued with the VCR. You can choose anything on this list to use this converter.
