quality backyard greenhouse
I really like the quality of this 8x12 foot greenhouse. It is a light weight greenhouse perfect for a backyard that goes together in one day, mostly with just one person. Two people are needed when doing the roof beam and installing the roof panels just to hold and guide things. The instructions were clear and detailed and the parts were labeled with stickers.Make sure you do a good job leveling the ground/foundation before getting started. You may also want to re-level the structure once you have all the side panels on since any twisting or dips show up in the alignment of the panels when adding the roofing panels and raingutters. Some modifications made:The rain gutters are a nice feature but come in three sections (which is understandable since the greenhouse is 12 feet long). The ends of each section butt up against each other pretty tightly, but even i f perfectly aligned water would drip at the joints. To improve the alignment and avoid twisting I added 2 inch metal rods (stiff wire) to go in the three channels on the bottom of the raingutters. The channels are used to attach the end cap downspounts with screws but are extruded the whole length. With the rain gutter segments now perfectly aligned and stable I used metal tape on the top side to seal the seam. No water leaks! You can also use the tape at one end if you only want to use the downspound at one end.The downspouts fit into 1 inch sched.40 PVC pipe with a tapered fit that is snug. The greenhouse comes with a locking latch on the left side of the door, but I added a handle on the right side of the door. The greenhouse comes with manual vents, but an obvious upgrade is to add the automatic vent mechanisms. First remove the existing vent closing clip and manual vent adjustment arm. Then check to see if your automatic vent mounting holes match the existing screw holes. I was able to use the existing holes in the vent window (moving top) with the screws provided by the greenhouse hardware. I had to drill holes for the bottom part of the lift mechanism since it mounted on the bottom of the cross bar.12/21/2022 updateAfter some drizzle (rain) the 12 button bolts on the roof/gutter are starting to rust. They are blackend which provides some rust protection, but since they are on top and have a hex drive that forms a little cup that holds water, they rust. They should have provided stainless steel button bolts for those at least, and maybe all the bolts that are exposed to the outside. I replaced mine with matching SS versions, but needed to buy SS washers as welll since the SS bolts I got had a smaller diameter head.Checking the raingutter I noticed the center of the 12 foot greenhouse bows out. There is no crossbeam to stop it from spreading in the center, so I added one using an aluminum strap 1/8 inch by about 42 inches long. This kept it safely above my head height. Had to pull sides in and then attach the new crossbeam so the sides are not bowed.Back to the rain gutters during the rain. Since the rain gutters ride on top of the top panels, the water tries to go under the rain gutter top lip and either into or along the wall panels. Taping the top of the side panels stops the water and dust/mud from going inside the channels, but then it runs down the wall panels. Solution is to seal the rain gutters to the top panels with a bead of outdoor silicon caulk. Also note that if you want the water to go to the back downspouts (not the front) you need to tip the whole greenhouse about 2 inches. Keep the slope flat (but not "level"). Should have done that during the build. On sunny days the greenhouse overheats. They probably should have provided 4 roof vents on the 12 foot greenhouse. My solution was to replace half the door with a screen door made from a window screen kit. Added matching lift off hinges so I can swap the doors as desired. Still a bit of a pain if you want it to be closed at night and screened in the heat of the day, because us have to manually swap the door every day. If you do this the best way I found to store the second door was to add a second lift off hinge base to the door way but facing away from the door. It makes it look like the door is fully open, but it is right there when you want to swap it.

Cheaply made
It warms up nice and all when the suns out but we had one wind storm of 30 mph winds and it fell apart. I put it together with an impact to make sure everything was tight and it did no good. It’s nice that it is made of aluminum and all so it’s light weight but it cannot hold up if you get weather of any sort. Made sure you have a heater if you’re expecting anything but good temps as well. Over all it’s a nice size and idea but way over priced. Will be throwing this one away and making a new one out of sturdy materials

Worst product ever!
Three times a smalll Nguyen came by and picked this thing up and threw it down and demolished it. We put it back together the last time we just can’t even reassembly. The thing is not worth anything $1500 spent on this and have nothing to show for it no matter anchoring no matter what you do the winds gonna tear it apart. Totally dissatisfied.

Inadequate design for outdoor application. No help from Amazon or third party vendor.
One wind knocked out the panels. Another wind storm broke plastic corner pieces and extruded aluminum sockets. Attempted to contact third party vendor through Amazon, but the third party vendor no longer associates with Amazon. Amazion is unable to reach the vendor or provide any quality stewardship. Amazon interprets their A-Z guarantee to have many holes. Not much help for you, the customer!.

Getting all the parts to build
Love the design and look once we built it.Sorry to say we were missing nuts & bolts, some of the panels did not have the covering on them so we did not know if we put the UV side correct, (facing i9n or out). All in all I think it will work out well for me.

Grandma is happy!
So good!! I cannot express how much I love this greenhouse. Got this for my grandma who loves to garden. Easy to assemble, very sturdy. Took 3 of us a couple hours (including assembling the raised beds in the picture). She is thrilled and can stay active in the cold months!

This is a nice greenhouse.
The media could not be loaded. This greenhouse 8x14 model was fairly easy to assemble, taking about 5 hours for two of us. The shipping wasn't the best with three damaged panels, and many posts were damaged. The posts were fairly easy to fix, however. I'm looking forward to growing vegetables and flowers in the greenhouse, it seems like it will hold up okay. If you are looking for a mid range greenhouse, this brand is about 25% cheaper than other comparable products and the quality is pretty good.
