Short Recovery Traction Boards, Off Road Bendable Tire Friction Tracks for Sand Mud Snow, 2PCS & Mounting Kit (3rd Gen, Black)

Seems to be of good quality and mounting them was a breeze. Haven’t had to use them yet but I’m sure they will work fine!

I bought the short boards to keep in my Crosstrek for when I go hiking or snowboarding. The short size is convenient for a small SUV. The bag is a nice to have when these get wet and/or dirty. I got a chance to use them today when I went up to the mountains, where we’ve had very heavy snowfall the last few weeks. A lady had parked 20 feet or so off the road onto the snow/ice, and when she tried to back out, she dug herself holes by spinning her tires despite having AWD. I dug some space around her tires with a folding shovel, then placed these traction boards under the fronts. After some rocking, her tires bit on the traction boards and she made some progress of a few feet before losing traction again. We had to do it one more time, and this time she was able to make it all the way out onto the road. The traction boards held up nicely and seem to be intact after the recovery. After we got her free, the lady said that she will be buying some of these boards to keep in her car. I don’t see a need to pay 2 or 3 times as much for more expensive traction boards. I’m very happy with these All-Tops, and I’ll be keeping them in my car full time at least until the snow is gone. I give them a big thumbs up!

Boards and mounting hardware are good quality. Was easy to mount and has several mounting options. Mounting studs are very long which should allow 4 boards to be stored on 1 mount. Boards are very thick and heavy which should work for my side-by-side. I added a washer and used locktight on the flat head screws that secure the mounting studs to the slotted plate.

Great recovery boards! I got these as extras to compliment my OG MaxTrax mainly to help in leveling when camping. Can't beat the price. Only gripe is they didn't come with the promised bag. I even ordered a replacement from Amazon in case the bag was not included by accident, but alas the second one didn't have it either. I am still keeping them.

… though not easy due to the tight space to thread bolts & nuts through the outer Owl boxes. I’m happy that the mounting system was included and worked on my Owl box (!!!), even if perplexing at first. The directions offer suggestions to a vast number of mounting situations, any of which should be much easier than installing on to an Owl box. If you’re considering installing on an Owl I suggest long needle nose pliers or hemostat to hold nuts in the tight gap you have to work with. This solution was a fraction of the cost of the recovery board sold by Owl. I also like that there are spaces to secure the board with zip ties and/or a small pad lock with a thin shackle.

Needed short boards for the bed rack in my Gladiator. These NAILED IT!! They look awesome I love that they came with mounting hardware. I probably didn't follow the instructions perfectly, but it's because all racks are not the same. I did what worked for my rack and the boards are perfectly level and SUPER secure and tight. I'd buy these if I were you. Not gonna lie.....my Gladiator is starting to look kinda Badass.
