Fantastic PC Controller
This controller is easily one of the best I've used, and has been my go-to ever since I bought it. The plastic feels great to the touch, the buttons are all satisfying to press, and the joysticks feel great too. I love the two programmable back buttons, I usually have them set to A and B which works for most games, and you can set 3 different profiles on the controller in case a specific game uses different buttons more often. The Ultimate Software is feature rich and detailed, allowing you to remap all the buttons, set joystick deadzones, and even the triggers can have deadzones applied if you want to. I especially like the turbo setting for games that want you to repeatedly tap an input, and it's super to set on the fly. Just hold the button you want to turbo and press the middle "Star" button and you're set. The LED ring on the front will even blink repeatedly to let you know that you have Turbo enabled, which is great and something pther controllers don't do.By far my favorite feature is the included dock, I wish every controller had this included. The dock has a compartment on the bottom for the 2.4ghz adapter and a passthrough design so you can plug the dock into your computer and be connected to your pc whenever you need it. When you're gonna play, just pick up the controller and it instantly turns on and connects to your pc, and when you're done just pop it back on the dock and the controller will automatically turn off and start charging. It even has a slim white LED along the bottom of the dock to show you the charging status. Seriously, this one feature alone is a major selling point, I can't overstate how convenient and easy to use this controller is.

Best PC Controller Hands Down
This is the first review I've ever written, but I just had to for this controller. I've had a Scuff, XBOX 1 Wireless, XBOX Pro and this is the best controller I've ever used for my PC.The quality is fantastic, it has a 2.4ghz dongle (so no need to worry about inconsistent Bluetooth) and it has a charging dock. The battery on this controller has never died on me, after 6-8 hours of gaming on a weekend, the dock is satisfying and works very well. It clicks in and lights on the bottom to let you know it's charging and I've never lost connection with this controller. If you're a PC gamer and need a solid controller, this is a must-have. So impressed I'm buying one for my wife as well.

Seamless connection, great size, good price
Been looking to replace my faulty Xbox Series controller for a while now. I've had great experience with the 8bitdo Pro 2 controller, so I felt comfortable ordering the 8bitdo ultimate. And I'm so glad I did. This controller punches well above its weight, form factor very similar to the Xbox but some how even feels better. The 8bitdo app works flawlessly and allows you to create custom profiles with different key mapping and have up to 3 presets to choose from on your controller at anytime. The charger doc is a welcome addition and I wish more manufacturers would follow this trend.Overall, this is a great piece of hardware. Only downside is the fact that it can't connect wirelessly to any other console, but if you, like me, need a controller only for your PC, I think this is a fantastic choice.

Greatest controller of all time
Greatest PC controller of all time. 8 bitdo truly are great at making quality controllers and this one is for sure the one to get. I've had this controller for nearly a year now and it has served me very well. Still works just like new and holds a charge reliably. Highly recommend it.

Great features and quality for the price. Highly recommend.
Staggering amount of controller for the price! I just wanted something no-nonsense with reliable connectivity for couch use, and wasn't going to shell out nearly double for an Xbox pad + dongle + dock. I found myself pleasantly surprised even given how good their previous controllers I've gotten have been.Pros:So far, flawless experience with software+profiles, connection, and battery (hasn't died on me once). My Pro 2 had some Xinput connection drops on bluetooth, it's good to see that wasn't a trend. I also love that the dock functions as a holder for the 2.5G adapter.Back buttons are convenient and quiet.D-pad: This one is actually good. I don't know if it's QC or what, but d-pads on all my previous 8Bitdo controllers have felt inferior to Xbox or Sony 1st party pads despite rave reviews. This one is clicky and positive.Size: It feels a bit smaller than a first-party xbox controller, and I can comfortable claw grip it for medium periods of time. I expected to have to reach for my Pro 2 more often.Rumble: Strong proper dual rumble with no noticeable rattle.Cons/nitpicks:Back buttons cannot be rebound to keyboard or mouse keys. This limits flexibility a bit for Steam remapping etc. This is just a limit of the software however and not specific to this unit.Flat-top design: The bumpers leading into a flat top feels a bit like form over function. However, the shoulder buttons are well placed and easy to press so it's not really a negative.Features: Obviously, this lacks the BT connectivity + Gyro controls of the Ultimate Pro. Since I have a Pro 2 with both of those, it's a non-issue for me, but for an only controller I would have sprang for the Pro.Dock pins: These are a little too easy to wiggle loose when knocking against your desk etc. However, I admit I toss the controller onto the dock most of the time and it usually just settles down and starts charging, so it's clearly well designed.Overall I would say for most users this is probably the only gamepad they'd need. It's very solid and premium feeling in the hand, high quality materials, and the buttons and D-pad all feel excellent. If you do a lot of emulation or are on the go a lot, it lacks a few features for that but outside of edge cases it's a fantastic unit.
