Maybe I'm getting old but I remember groom and clean being a little thicker and providing more hold. Then again it's been about 20 years since the last time I used this. Still, for the price and the general quality, and that classic g&c scent this is the best value I could find.

It appears Groom and Clean is no more. It is impossible to find and many on-line threads are saying that it has been discontinued. What shame. It smelled great, washed right out, and worked perfectly. After more than 70 years Groom and Clean is now gone. I hope somebody brings it back. If you go to the website of the manufacturer you cannot email them about it and it’s only on Ebay. But the last remaining boxes will expire. Somebody bring back Groom and Clean!

I’ve found Groom & Clean to be the best for my hair. Been using it for some time. It has just the right holding power without stiffening your hair strands. Combing after application is very smooth.
