Who knew THIS movie could be such a good game????
I didn't expect much... the usual bad attempt at translating the movie into a game... but I was VERY WRONG. I'm not even sure the creators of this game know how well they've done, but playing the online multi-player mode of this game is like watching a completely new movie EVERY TIME you play. Not only is it nail-biting to try and stay alive (if you've been randomly selected to be a "camper"), but it's just as much fun to get killed and then spectate. I haven't yet been selected to play online as Jason, but I'n sure that's pretty cool as well. The description of the game is spot on, and I guarantee you'll love everything about this game. Can't go wrong.

Try Friday the 13th
To all the people that are buying this game, this game has online and offline modes and single player challenge compete objectives with movie parts and yes you play as Jason all the Jasons just not jason x cause of a lawsuit it’s on YouTube but the game is fun ever play friends online or offline plus different ways to kill the camp councilors and the can kill Jason too plus if you die as a councilor you can comeback as Tommy Jarvis . Point is the game is fun it’s has its glitches but other than that it’s fun.

Great game for the true Jason fans
Was like others and on the fence about getting this but after seeing some footage and screen shots and it went on sale so I ordered it. Being a fan of the Friday The 13th / Jason franchise since I was a kid I am impressed with the detail, gameplay and the music / sound effects. Characters look great and it really is a fun Jason experience. I highly recommend this to all the big Jason fans out there.

Ground-breaking!
Ground-breaking one-of-a-kind game that is addictive with infinite replay value. I love FPS, but this is different. You can't take on Jason so it's not about running and gunning... it's about running, hiding, and escaping which makes it unlike any other game out there. At first, you're just trying not to die in the first minute of the match. As you get better, you'll start escaping or surviving to the end. Once you get good, you can up the challenge by trying to help other counselors escape or killing Jason, but playing the hero is risky. I don't think I've ever seen a Friday the 13th movie all the way through and know little about them, but the atmosphere they built is top notch. The details and in-game options really feel like a teen slasher film from the 80's.Yes, there are glitches, it crashes, hosts quit, and it can be slow to get a match. You will get frustrated at times, but the tension is real and every match is different. Even when you're playing with the same group on the same map, whoever is playing Jason will have different strategies, strengths, and skill level. You have to learn several strategies and adapt to how each game unfolds. Even then, your chances aren't great. If you like suspense, tension, and a challenge where the odds start against you and death could come at any moment, this is your game! It's not like the cheesy storyline games that are supposed to be scary because you're funneled through a list of jump-scares and cliched scary imagery... here, the inevitable death is really coming and you feel it. If you want an easy game where you respawn in 5 seconds and always have an equal chance against your opponents, this is not the game for you.Keep in mind your counselors are human... they get scared, scream, ask for help, beg for their life, and limp and whimper when hurt. Sometimes, these sounds give you away and sometimes you're certain death is inevitable. That can be annoying to some people who want full control over their character or need to "win" a lot, but it really does make the game feel more realistic and give you a more helpless feeling. Remember, you're controlling a scared kid who would be lucky to find a baseball bat for defense, not an ex-navy SEAL badass loaded out with body armor, grenades, and machine gun. Your opponent isn't another human, it's an undead killing machine!

Great game. I have had the digital copy since ...
Great game. I have had the digital copy since release and have had countless hours of fun. I have been waiting for a decent Friday the 13th game since my Nintendo days back in the 80's. Proud to be a Kickstarter backer. I picked up the physical release of this game as a birthday present for my brother. Keep up the great work on the game and keep the updates coming!

Go For It!
I was hesitant of this game due to seeing other reviews about matchmaking not working well. This game was also being compared to Dead By Daylight and wasn’t as favorable. I had to leave a review to say, go for it! It’s a very fun and thrilling game. Would not say it is scary, in most cases. The matchmaking works well, I can find a quick match in about two minutes. Can not compare it to DBD since I have yet to play it. All in all, solid game, very fun and exciting.
