It rattles on high, completely useless in my application. :-(

To date, I've purchased 5 of these fans because of their compact size, ability to wall mount and good looks. However, be forewarned that these fans can be a total pain in the tail end! Ive discovered these fans require simple adjustments with rubber/felt washers right out of the box, see photo. This ensures the cage wont rattle and to move the cage out a fraction further away from the blades. If you don't sometimes the fan blades will hit the cage or the cage rattles and or vibrates which is totally annoying. My biggest pet peeve is you need to disassemble the fan every 6 months and oil it. Having to oil the fan isn't the worst part, it's taking the fan apart repeatedly which loosens parts and screws, thus creating more squeaks and rattles which you need to take apart all over again to fix. The wire cage can easily be bent which isn't a problem on the wall but when you need to take it down every 6 months, the cage tends to get bent up. I like the fans once I make the corrections but these fans are toooooooo expensive for the headaches. If you are not mechanically inclined, DON'T PURCHASE THESE FANS!

It moves air all around the room even when there is no wind outside. Magical.

The fan is great but we can not use the guard because it makes so much noise. Fortunately it is high enough that it is not a risk to anyone. It does look funny.
