Do NOT buy
Purchased through Scandia. The heater came broken and they refused to replace it. After I purchased replacement parts to get the heater working, it broke again. The electrical wiring is too close to the burner, which means you'll burn through the wires with use and need to continue to replace the ignition. Terrible design!

Poor build quality, not what you'd expect for $3K
At no point are the top, bottom, rear or sides plumb and level with any other part of the heater. Ok, fine. Every edge, and I mean EVERY edge, is razor sharp. Absolutely no finish work on any of the sheet metal. Any stainless that blued during grinding or welding was left blue. I've run this thing for a couple weeks trying to get whatever is creating horrible fumes to burn off. I've removed all the rocks and scrubbed the charring residue from the rock pan twice and it's finally getting better. The photos I've attached are after cleaning the pan a second time with a stainless steel scrub pad and alcohol. This is the only gas fired sauna heater that I've found for sale in the United States. It may be your only option, but be aware. The workmanship is far below what I would expect for a $3K purchase. It doesn't heat as well as advertised, but it is adequate for my sauna (6x8 heats to 90C in about 70 minutes)

sauna stove
I dislike the entire stove system. I have a gas heater. The timer/stove doesn't always come on, its sporadic. The rocks, when wet while throwing steam, create a coughing sensation in the air. Does anyone else experience this? Please let me know. The company said they have never heard of this problem. Thank You.
