Q: Can you turn off the amp models and use just the effects in front of an amp into a pedalboard?

Yes, you may turn off amp and cab sections on Ampero Mini and use it as a part of your usual pedalboard chain

Q: Can I use one effect in each bank?That is, 3 different effect on the 3 buttons?

The buttons are for tranaition between presets. Lets say you hace a rock preset and a blues preset… qith the buttons you scroll between them

Q: Is there global tap tempo yet or do I have to tap the tempo for every preset (which is very bad)?

Hello, there is no global tap tempo in Hotone Ampero One MP-80 processor. MP-80's tap tempo works this way: When in Tap Tempo mode, the footswitch LED will turn blue and will flash with the tempo set. Set the tempo by repeatedly tapping the footswitch. This tempo will apply to the delay time and other effects with adjustable speed parameters. If you want a certain effect to be controlled by tap tempo, go into the patch settings, select an effect, then select SYNC. When you do this, the time will sync to the tap tempo value.

Q: How are the sounds compared to the hx stomp and helix sounds?

I personally would take the ampero stomp over the hx stomp or helix it sounds great clear and articulate has 12 blocks thats enough to creat most and rig if you need more buy 2 lol

Create your own presets and explore sonic potential

Most presets aren't that great, but if you're willing to make your own (very easy, by the way), it's an amazing piece of equipment with a highly responsive touchscreen. The sounds are excellent individually, just not in the combinations they've used for the presets. I'd recommend creating a custom set of rigs from scratch. The sonic and creative possibilities are virtually limitless, and, by the way, I also own a Kemper, which adds context for those familiar with it.
