Great for sore feet after long shift
The media could not be loaded. These are amazing ! Just pop in fridge ,freezer or microwave depending on if you want hot or cold treatment. Then put foot in ,velcro to secure and sit back and relax ,let the product do its job , they're not made to walk about in so don't understand why people mentioning that ! I'm my opinion these would be great gift .

Much easier to use & gel packs cover the whole feet, great to reduce swelling & inflammation
I suffer from plantar fasciitis, occasional gout and mild arthritis in my ankles and have always found cold treatment an amazing relief, it settles down the swelling and inflammation rapidly. These therapy socks are much simpler and easier to put on and position, than others I have tested or used. They can be used out of the fridge or freezer, depending on the amount of cold required or tolerated. They are a little more awkward to put on if used from the freezer, as they are less pliable at first. They can also be used for heat treatment, but I have not tested this because of my conditions. The instructions indicate that the gel packs should be removed from the socks and placed in a 750w microwave for no longer than 25 seconds. Each ‘sock’ has two outer pockets, a full-length gel pack is inserted in each. There is a separate inner sleeve for the foot to be inserted into. This means cooling gel surrounds the foot from the toes to above the ankle. A Velcro strap for each is included to tighten around any point that needs particularly close attention.Other therapy covers I have used have had fiddly compartments to put the gel bags in, and Velcro fastenings that are not always positioned right. The socks come in a zip-up, thick plastic, ‘antibacterial’ bag, with the instruction to place the whole thing in the fridge/freezer, I have been used to only putting the gel packs in there. This method makes the whole thing bulkier, but I can see the cleaner and simplistic reasons, as they are then ready to wear.It is too early to assess the durability of the cloth socks, but should they not meet expectations I will be sure to return and update this review. They are quite expensive, but I feel the benefit I received from them far out ways it.

Comments from "The Management"Two or three times a year I have foot problems, either to hot in Winter or swollen ankles in summer.I have found it hard to find anything that helps except the little ice packs from my Husbands Insulin pack that goes on holiday with us and it really is not hygienic, even though they are put into pillowcases when cold. When these came up on the vine Hubby got them thinking they may help.Currently have a sprained left ankle and swollen right foot.Out of the protective pouch you have 2 lovely large grey velour socks, which are so soft and 2 large ice packs inside shaped for the foot and ankle. There are also 2 Velcro straps, to keep them in place. A good instruction leaflet is included too and easy to follow.I popped them in the fridge for an ½ an hour and they were cold enough for my trial. As they are oversized, the socks are very easy to put on and fitted well. You cannot move in them at all, because they ice packs get heavier, the more you freeze them, so make sure you visit the little room before use. They were very comfortable and helped ease the pain of my ankle a lot. The straps, I did not use, as they made my swollen foot worse, but the packs stayed in place. I could feel the relief straight away on my ankle and especially on my right foot. They cooled down slowly over the next hour, then I removed them, and removed the packs and gave a quick hand wash to the socks. They were dry quickly too being velour. They come with a 30 day returns policy and a 1 year, warranty. Not many socks come with that!

I'm never giving these up, EVER.
I love, love, LOVE these ice sock's. best things since sliced bread. their comfortable, cooling and i will not share them, ever. just pop the gel packs in the fridge and away you go, pain relief just like that. I have plantar fasciitis in my left foot (walking injury) and it's taking AGES to heal. these have been a godsend to be honest. they provide immediate relief for me and their really comfortable to wear. the socks are nice and comfortable to wear and the gerl packs slip right in with no issues at all. the socks are washable as well. You can't really run around with these on but frankly why would i even try when my feet hurt that badly. it's nice to be able to sit back and chill. can definitely recommend these bad boy's if you have pain and swelling in your feet and ankles.

Might work depending on where the swelling is
Having a severely bruised toe which mgiht be fractured, ths hospital after having x-rayed the toe, decided there was nothing they could do, except send home and advise to use pain killers and bag of frozen peas to reduce swelling. At this point, these socks come up for review, so I decided it was good timing to try these out. What arrived are 2 very big and quite heavy socks. Having put them in the fridge for a few hours, it was time to try them out.The first thing to note is that the socks with gel packs do a reasonable job of cooling your feet down. Did it help with the swelling? - yes. However, they are quite heavy and as such caused a huge amount of pain to the toe due to the weight of the gel pack and sock. In fact to the point where they had to be stopped. In the case of a badly swollen or potentially fractured toe, I would probably say it's not suitable, and instead just stick with the cheap option of some frozen peas in a food bag.I think it's probably ok for a swollen ankle, but before purchasing, do check carefully your use case, and be sure that your swelling can take some weight or it might not be suitable.

Good quality
They are good quality both material and ice packs.you get 2 pairs and they do stay cold for a very long time,at least 45 minutes. It works well for a 3 hour chemo.the ice packs are not the cheapish kind,I stupidly walked with mine on the first time to hit the bathroom and they did not explode or tear so they do hold up.

Easy to get on, stay cool a long time
These booties are easy to get on. I wear women's size 9 and the smaller size was fine. I'm using them to help protect my feet from neuropathy that can be a side effect of my chemo. I had them in the freezer for 2 days. Just before I leave to get my infusion I pack them in an insulated bag with blue ice bricks. It typically 3-4 hours from the time I leave the house until I get the Taxol which is the drug that can cause neuropathy. They were nice and cold but also insulated enough that they didn't hurt my toes or any part of my foot. I wore thin socks under them. They stayed cold for almost 40 minutes. The Taxol part of the infusion takes an hour so I wore my old bootes for the other 20 minutes. I like these so much better I'll probably get another pair. They come with straps to snug them around your ankles but I forgot them and they still did the job. They also come with a zippered plastic bag to store and freeze them in. You have to freeze them inside a sealed plastic bag to protect them from condensation. Including the correctly sized bag is helpful and adds value. They are bulky but I don't care if I retain feeling and function in my feet. The price is reasonable too.

Love these socks!
I have alot of issues with my feet and hands due to arthritis. I ordered these for my feet, work great. Then I thought why not try them on my hands and wrist. They were great! Now I use them for my HANDS and FEET! So I get the benefit of using the product for the price of one. When I ordered I didn't think of it. Both are soft and comfortable. Don't hesitate to purchase.
