I gave these a five star rating understanding "how" they work and how "well" they should work where I put them. They are of good build quality and easy to install and use. As they have a spring in them, they are not noisy and, in the supply line to my main home toilet and my refrigerator water supply, they stop the "hammer". However, at the very end of the house with only one way for the water to go (back against the 80 psi supply pressure) they are less successful in reducing the hammer...but they help! I am satisfied with cost and recognize that in a few years I'll need to replace them (as the spring wears out) but I'm happy with that and them. I'd buy them again.

Works like a charm! when I removed the dishwasher I started getting the water hammer noise. And that line had a suppressor but the regular hot water did not.Very easy to install in about 5 minutes. Great price,seems very sturdy and super easy to remove. They fit perfectly

These fixed my water hammer issue on my bathroom sinks. Both sinks come off the same line, but I had to put one on each sink, so glad this was a 2 pack. Easy to install.

Worked great, easy to install and stopped water hammer when turning off sink.

Bottom line they work, no more hammering in my laundry room.

I bought 2 of them to fix the water hammer problem in my kitchen sink. i installed them one in the cold and one in the hot water line.in the. I am very disappointed that they did not fix my problem. The noise from the water hammer stays the same as before.

These have totally stopped severe water hammer that I had experienced for 18 months since I removed an anti water hammer device on one copper pipe carrying the cold water supply near the washing machine. I've just had to replace the cold water inlet valve on the washing machine after it started leaking which I attribute to the severe water hammer too! I delayed fitting a new anti-wh device on the pipe because it was a difficult job because of pipe congestion but these new devices simply attach to the washing machine where they are easily installed and most effective! Very highly recommended!!

Tried to fit to the back of the washing machine wasn't possible as it moves the washing machine out by a couple of inches! I tried to connect to the over end of the pipework but the treads in this unit haven't been cut properly, I decided the best place for this was the bin.

Thread not suitable for UK washing machines.
