i was looking for filter mesh bags and thought they might work. they did okay would have been 5 stars but I had to use three bags inside each other for them to hold fine ground vegetation. they are chemical resistant and easy to clean.durable enough for a 2 day extraction with boiling alcohol they are more than enough for tea bags. holding just the right amount for my kombutcha.translucent white color makes it easy to tell if they have become contaminated or clean enough.

They work well in my aquarium sump filter to hold bio medias

These media bags are a good size and great for all media except for charcoal. They are not quite fine enough and quite a bit of charcoal flows right out of them. Was a little frustrated with the charcoal tinted water a few hours after I’d put them in my filter.Again, for all other media, they’re probably better than the very fine bags I’ve had previously in that there’s probably better flow for them to do a more effective job.

I received one piece that wasn’t sewn properly, so the zipper was not attached to the fabric on one side. Otherwise, the rest were fine. The zippers themselves were smooth opening & closing. A good sized mesh for bio media, made of something that didn’t snag on the rough pieces.

I used these with aquasoil to avoid mixing with capped sand. plants will definitely be able to grow into them. Theyre kind of on the small side, but thats good for small tanks.

I use these to house my almond leaves in my aquarium. They really help to prevent the leaf rot from overtaking the aquarium floor.

If you're using Coconut carbon shell, it'll go right through these, making a bit of a mess in your filter system or aquarium. You'd need to use a much larger activated charcoal.If they made the screen a little 'finer' they'd work better for my application.
