Since retiring recently after working for over 50 years, I was surprised how easy it was for me to lose track of the day of the week. In my job, I noted the days of the week by the place I was supposed to start each day. Without that need to be at a specific place on each day, it all seems to meld together. Although I have seen this kind of clock given as a gag gift at retirement parties and though it was funny, now I have a use for it! This clock is plastic but it is pretty realistic looking when up on the wall. The numbers are clear and easy to read from across the room, as are the black hands mark the hours and minutes. The red hand marks the day of the week. It has kept perfect time so far and serves the purpose for its purchase well. And the price was very reasonable.

I actually bought this to use the movement to repair another "Day-of-the-week" clock I had, but when I examined it I liked it so much I simply used it to replace the old clock.Nice size; nice design; the front is actually real glass. The case is plastic, simulated to look like wood -- real wood would be an improvement, but would probably up the price. Easily readable from across teh room in ordinatry lighting. Easy to set, with a separate knob to set time, and day.The best thing is, this very nice looking clock is about half the price of other -- much cheesier-looking -- Day-of-Week clocks out there. Good clock; great deal; would definitely buy again.

We have one of these and give them as gifts. Everybody likes them. A nice feature is the clock makes no noise whatsoever like clocks with a second hand.

I have recently retired. Everyday is Friday and every night is Saturday night. Sounds good but we still have day to say stuff to do. And after awhile they all run together. Hung this clock in my garage. Quick look at the time and reminder of days.

The clock is plastic. It has a nice oak look, but if you want a wood clock this won't be it. It suits my needs.
