I really wanted this to work for me. Unfortunately it was too heavy and greasy feeling. It didn't absorb and made my face burn. I had to return it.

This 24K gold caviar wrinkle repair serum by PRAI beauty offers an aesthetically pleasing experience from the moment I pick up the bottle, which is decorated with gold tone stones on the lid. It is pretty, but a couple of the stones have already fallen off, and the bottle is definitely made of a cheaper quality of plastic. The serum itself is an iridescent gold color, and it transfers to skin as a very gentle shimmer. (It’s not a heavy, obvious and glittery shimmer, which is nice.) The scent is not my favorite, but it doesn’t bother me hugely, either. The serum does leave more of a residue on my skin, which I don’t love. I prefer most of my serums to be very light, with little to no residue, so that they layer nicely with other products. I tried using this today as a last serum before moisturizer, and it did work much better that way. Overall, I would say that my first impressions of this serum are fair. This is a very generously sized bottle of serum, so it’s a lot of product, with good ingredients. It just lacks the texture and consistency that I prefer.

This serum has a really pretty gold shimmer which looks radiant in the bottle but, on application it leaves a really subtle shimmer to my skin tone. It’s almost barely noticeable. The scent reminds me of like a nice hotel brand shampoo and conditioner. It’s really subtle and hard to place what the notes are but it’s very tolerable fades reasonably. This serum applies more like a gel type serum. It feels thick at first on application but it thins out during application. Once applied it does feel light weight. For a gel texture serum it surprisingly absorbs completely in less than 5 minutes after application leaving my skin feeling silky soft and feeling deeply hydrated and plump. I have been loving how soft and nourished my skin feels using this serum. It not only hydrated but give my skin a really nice subtle glow. I’ve been using this serum for almost two weeks now and I have been really enjoying it. I would definitely recommend this serum to any one looking to for an anti aging serum that deeply hydrates with a soft subtle glow.

While I was sort of turned off by the gimmicky name of this with it saying 24k gold and caviar, I feel like those were just used to catch attention and add value. I don’t really know why I would want caviar in my face serum to be honest. It’s a very large bottle And it’s very pretty and has crystals all around the cap. I was very pleasantly surprised with the shimmer effect that it left on my skin even though I’m in my 40s it’s such a minor amount of shimmer that it just makes me happy, and I think brighten the appearance of my skin. I like the scent I don’t really know how to describe it, but it’s not strong and I definitely like it. It’s only an average moisturizer in my opinion which I find very interesting since I see that most of the other reviews say that it’s a very good moisturizer. I have average skin, but I don’t think it’s a particularly good moisturizer but that’s just on me. I would recommend this just know that it definitely has a shimmer and the bottle is very large so it should last quite a while.
