I was hesitant to buy this tamper as it had some bad reviews, Im blown away with the quality and perfect fit for the money. It is Bpa free as well as very solid and good quality. IT DOES NOT FIT NEWER wider jug VITAMIX'S I have the old tall 5200 model. I am so happy with this. Thanks so much.

So I embarrassingly forgot to attach the lid on my vitamix and turned the original vitamix tamper into shreads, ruining my beautiful fresh pumpkin pie purée.I’ve learned my lesson, always use the lid. I panicked because my family uses our vitamix every day, several times a day. I searched Amazon and saw this tamper. Cheap, fast delivery. Decided to give it a try. It doesn’t feel as solid as the original, but it works like a charm. Honestly, I sometimes forget it isn’t the original. No issues for us yet anyway! I may even buy a second for back up.

It replaced the factory tamper perfectly.

This tamper works great. The product fits my blender just right. We have used it for over a year and it is in great condition still.

It works over and over and over again as well as the vitamix brand wand. I have a busy latte drive through with multiple blenders in use. We use the large blender pitchers. It would hit bottom in the smaller pitchers.

Still have not received refund and returned this item over 2 weeks ago.

Bought it as a replacement and it fits perfect.
