Dose what I need it to do and is easy to install

I was really nervous purchasing this item as we had bad experiences with a smaller version that kept overheating, but when combined with our Inkwell temperature controller, this heat lamp is working well. No installation instructions were provided, but once I figured out how to poke through our mesh cage top, the screws and bolts provided worked really well. Hopefully, this will keep our crestie at a comfy temperature through winter!

These work well until they stop working and are the perfect size for most vivariums. However, I've had repeated issues with this product having bought maybe over a dozen with the bulb being difficult to remove because the bracket spins in place. It's impossible at times to remove the bulb without unscrewing the bracket and guard from the vivarium lid. I've had problems with these stopping working after a few months and needing replaced. They are a cheaper option than name brands but quality suffers for it.
